Re: PHP code for using historic data
Nerja - I'll try to put an example together today to get you started. One caveat: I am self taught and not a programmer. edited: I have attached to examples of MySQL and PHP code. Both are bare bones i.e. no css applied, but should give you an idea of how it works. You can see the tables produced b...

Re: PHP code for using historic data
Hi, If you do not have access to MySQL, there is a script available that parses the dayfile: http://cumulus.tnetweather.com/projects/phpdayfile, which produces monthly tables: http://cumulus.tnetweather.com/trends/monthly. If you have access to MySQL, then import the dayfile and/or monthly log file...

PHP code for using historic data
Has anyone got any PHP code for making use of the historic data that cumulus saves out? I want to be able to pick out high/low temperatures etc for particular dates in the past and am not sure how to do this.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: RUnning two websites from one Cumulus/console
You could always display the Cumulus pages in an iframe on your second website - its how I display all the cumulus pages on my site.

Cumulus on my website
I thought others might be interested to see how I incorporated cumuls and the live weather station data into my website. Nerja Weather Forecast . This page has a weather forecast incorporated with the realtime data from Cumulus, so it shows the current live temperature along with the forecasts. Furt...

Re: Putting Cumulus on an existing website
The easiest way of adding Cumulus to an existing site, is to follow the instructions to setup a cumulus site, then just include the weather pages you want as iframes on pages on your existing site.

Re: Twitter setup
Yes, I think that is the answer - add the link to the site in the tweet itself by creating a new twitter txt file. Obvious really when you think about it. It would still be nice to be able to change the 'via' link. The way to do it, would be for users to register their own app on Twitter, then have ...

Re: Twitter setup
Hi Steve Thanks for the reply. No, its not that I don't want people to know I am using Cumulus - the idea with using Twitter (and other social media) is to drive traffic to my own website, rather than someone else's and at present if someone gets my Cumulus tweet (about the weather here) and click o...

Twitter setup
Hi all I have been playing around now with Cumulus for about a week and set the twitter feature up yesterday and I have a question that I can't find an answer to in the wiki or on here, so... The tweeting works fine, sending out tweets every 60 minutes, but the author website is shown as Sandaysoft ...
