That worked! Thanks so much. Will also pass onto RSHosting.

RSHosting Upload Issues

I am in the process of transferring my Cumulus v1.9.4 from Windstream webhost (still active) to RSHosting. I have been working with RSHosting support for over two days and we cannot get Cumulus to upload to the proper directory. I went with RSHosting as it was recommended in the Cumulus Webspace Wik...

Re: storm rain?

I saw an unexpected discrepancy today on my Davis VP2 console regarding readings between "Daily Rain" and "Rain Storm" -- daily rain amount is 0.01" (or one tip) greater than rain storm. The Davis manual states that, "It takes two tips of the rain bucket to begin a stor...

Re: Buying VP2 - best PC/Logger module for Cumulus?

As part of your research on the Davis 6153, you might check out the reference documents on the Davisnet site at http://www.davisnet.com/weather/products/wx_product_docs.asp?pnum=06153 . The document, " Derived Variables in Davis Weather Products " is a good source of information on the log...

Re: calibration and uploads to cwop

Build 1092 works perfectly all the way through to the data sent to CWOP. MSLP remained where it should while my AP error in CWOP has now been eliminated. Users should be reminded to set DavisCalcAltPress=1 in Cumulus.ini for this change to take effect; otherwise, AP will be reported as MSLP. What so...

Re: calibration and uploads to cwop

Yes, that would be straightforward; I'll look at doing it. Just to clarify, though: this would be used only in the calculation of AP from the derived station pressure, not in the derivation of station pressure from MSLP, as the point of using the station elevation figure for that is that the statio...

Re: calibration and uploads to cwop

I also meant to add that the proposed modification in my previous post should still work with the change made in build 1090 so that the pressure calibration offset in 1090 could still be applied to both the AP and MSLP parameters.

Re: calibration and uploads to cwop

:bash: Davis does this to me too. Thank you for considering a modification. Here is a proposal for you to consider that hopefully would minimize Cumulus modifications. Leave everything as is, and then add a line in Cumulus.ini that would allow for a +/- offset that would be added to the elevation re...

Re: calibration and uploads to cwop

Cumulus builds after 1090, where the barometric offsets for Davis stations have now been applied to both altimeter pressure (AP) as well as MSL pressures (MSLP), have actually started creating a problem for me because in my case, I have found the need to offset each independently. A long story follo...

Re: New web tags <#THWindex> and <#THSWindex>

Hi Steve, I noticed Davis recently came out with a revision (2.6.1, March 29, 2013) to their Serial Communication Reference Manual and in that revision made reference to description corrections to the THSW index in the LOOP 2 format table. I know you had previously tried to pull the THSW index into ...

Re: LED's

In place of the above conditional statement, tried to make the following expression work, but couldn’t; not sure why. _gaugeSolar.setThreshold(data.IsSunny ? -10000 : 10000); I think you would need: _gaugeSolar.setThreshold(data.IsSunny === "1" ? -10000 : 10000); That worked and thanks mu...

Re: LED's

In keeping with the subject of this thread, tried setting up an LED on the solar gauge that would emulate the “Sun” LED on the Cumulus panel. This modification uses the <#IsSunny> webtag so it may only work for the Davis and Oregon systems. I'm not a JavaScript programmer, so appreciate any comments...

Re: Max Indicator on Solar Gauge- V2.2.2

Following your lead, I found that the ‘today’s solar max’ alias/webtag wasn't present in “realtimegaugesT.txt”. By adding the term ,"SolarTM":"<#solarTH>" to "realtimegaugesT.txt", the maximum daily indicator on the solar gauge now appears to be working properly. Thanks
