Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

I am actually subscribed to this topic. But the reader has worked so good I haven't paid attention to any of the notifications about it. Should have paid a little more attention, would have saved me some work!

    Thanks again.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

I have been experimenting with vps hosting and could not figure out why my dayfile reader would not work. After racking my brains I realized that the host is running php 7.1. Then came to the forum and found out that you had updated it for 7.1.

    Thanks!

Re: Thank you, Steve for 15 years of support

Thanks Steve for all your work and help. I got my first weather station in 2012 and found Cumulus soon after. I am still using Cumulus today (Version 1 at present) and it has always been stable running for months at at time.

    Enjoy retirement! :)

That shows any day that rain has fallen. But is there anyway to show the actual amount? Between .010-.050

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)

I have noticed that if rainfall is .004 or less that it does not show in the statistics of dayfile reader. If .005 or more it does. Is there any way for me to show the lesser amounts in my statistics with the dayfile reader?

    Thanks

    Re: Lack of updates

I know how things can be with major changes in your life. Retirement. Selling a home. Moving to a different location. I had to give up some things I had put a lot of work and effort in. You have put a lot of effort into Cumulus and CumulusMX. Cumulus in some ways is an extension of your life. I have...

    Re: Create/Cleanup Monthly Log Files

You can create "missing" for dayfile but not aware that you can for monthly log. After I read your post I went back to the wiki and looked at it again. So it does look like the dayfile.txt will not create or adjust the monthly logs. I wonder if there is any other way to somehow automate the correct...

    Create/Cleanup Monthly Log Files

I started using Cumulus 1 in 2012 and used a Fine Offset station. Then I changed to the Windblown Station (emulates a Fine Offset) that Charlie Gale built. I have data from 2012 till the present time (2017). Over the years I had quite a few inaccurate reading due to different problems especially wit...

    Re: Easyweather.dat Browse For File

Thanks for your help Steve. While searching for info about the Easyweather.dat file I see where you are discouraging its use. I am experimenting with some generic home built/DIY stations and found that is the only way to use them with Cumulus. I also found this post where you talked about in the fut...

    Easyweather.dat Browse For File

I am using MX 3038. In Cumulus1 in the station settings there is the option to choose Easyweather for the station. Then near the bottom of the Station settings there is a place to choose where the Easyweather.dat file is. I find the place in CumulusMX to choose Easyweather as the station. But, I do ...
