Thanks for the quick reply. I uninstalled AVG a couple of weeks ago as it was blocking ftp transfers. It looks like it left things behind as it is now asking if I want AVG to monitor my browser. Very annoying.

Dayfile stopped being uploaded on 14 Sept. When I look at the Dayfile editor and create missing I get a message from Cumulus to upload the attached bug report for advice and Cumulus needs to be restarted. Any ideas what I need to do?

As the original netbook does not seem to have the problem, is it fair to assume that the problem lies with the set up on the new laptop or is that too simple?

The IP is unblocked but there are still times when it will not ftp from Cumulus to the webspace, there are no braeaks in transmission to WU,PWS,WOW etc. HTML Files are not updated and I have needed to manually reconnect several times to get it going again. Hi I have been using a Samsung Netbook to provide a 24/7 connection with Cumulus for the past 2 years and my webspace provided by One and One, generally everything has worked well. Finally have a record from all this rain.

Consecutive rain days 22 Days to 19 Jan and it looks like today it might be a dry day at last. Could have been much better as I have recorded rain on 41 of the last 42 days.
