SteelSeries Layout Changes
Hi folks, I have read Mark's Wiki on changing the layout but I am not clear on how to make the change. I would like to have three rows of four gauges. I will be upgrading my station soon so I want UV and Solar even though it doesn't report today. Does anyone have example code that shows a different ...

SteelSeries Version Upgrades
I just got my SteelSeries gauges up and running a few days ago. They are quite good and impress everyone who views them. I deployed version 2.5.17. If the author posts a new version do I simply replace the realtimegaugesT.txt and gauges-ssT.htm files my Cumulus web folder then also replace the css a...

Re: NEED HELP Upgrading CumulusRealtime to SteelSeries
Paul, Thanks for the quick response. I went back and doubled my efforts which led me to the fix. I had not copied the css and scripts folders properly.
Thanks again!

NEED HELP Upgrading CumulusRealtime to SteelSeries
Hi Folks, I would like to upgrade my old Realtime site to the new SteelSeries. I'm not much of a system administrator and am having difficulty with the upgrade even though I have read the Read Me and Wiki. Are there some some instructions or another thread with instructions for those of us with less...

Re: FTP Error 500 and 426 at 3:30am
Steve, I am no longer using FTP transfers to my webserver. It seems I still have to have FTP boxes selected so my mobile and realtime sites work. Is this expected? http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo64/jgkurz/2015-11-20_122920_zpsq8yfzulc.jpg http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo64/jgkurz/2015-11-...

Re: FTP Error 500 and 426 at 3:30am
You have a configuration problem. The realtime.txt URL in your xml file is "http://www.fstrnu.net/pws/realtime.txt" but that appears to require a login. Note also that a URL starting 'www' and the same URL without 'www' are regarded as different domains - see the note in the readme.txt fo...

Re: FTP Error 500 and 426 at 3:30am
Disabling FTP and sending the files to a share on my web server worked great. THANK YOU again for the suggestion. Unfortunately Realtime now hangs with a "Loading Data" message. The gauges show but the data never populates. I haven't looked at the Realtime page for a while so I can't say f...

That's a great idea. I'll see if I can make that work. Thanks again.steve wrote:By the way, as the server is on your local network, then you don't need to use ftp at all, you could get Cumulus to copy the files instead, if you make the directory available over the network.

FTP Error 500 and 426 at 3:30am
Hi all, I am having the strangest problem with Cumulus FTP uploads. My Cumulus server uploads weather station data to a separate web server via FTP. The FTP server and web server are the same device. Both Cumulus and the Web/FTP server are on my internal LAN. Almost everyday between 3:20am and 3:45a...

Re: Does a Cumulus shutdown = lost weather data?
To hold the data for later retrieval is one of the main purposes of the Davis datalogger. Upon restarting Cumulus it will get the new data on the logger since the last time Cumulus previously received it, so all your data in Cumulus will be current at the interval you have set. The datalogger has a...

Does a Cumulus shutdown = lost weather data?
Hi All, I've never fully understood the data logging aspect of the my Davis Vantage Vue so I need to ask a question.
If I need to shut down Cumulus for a couple hours or more will I lose the data during that period or will Cumulus show the data from the shutdown period once it resumes?
Thank you!

Hours of Sunshine = 0
Hello, I have a Davis VantageVue with Cumulus v1.9.2 (1032). The system works quite well but my Hours of Sunshine always shows 0.
Is that because the VantageVue weather station does not have a UV sensor?
Thanks.
