Hi Chris, Budget perhaps has some influence but you can actually get pretty good results with a small outlay, have a look at my site with webcam at http://www.llandudno-weather.co.uk I use a basic 1.3mp usb webcam mounted in a converted security light case, images are captured by TinCam at 640 x 480...

Hi Steve, I maybe being a little paranoid but I am not totally happy displaying Interior Temperature or Humidity for all to see. I feel that firstly it is not really relevant to visitors but more importantly could be a potential security issue as it may indirectly indicate if say the house was empty...

2 weeks old from Maplin, mine also appears not to have one, or any mention in the specs. I understand that if it had, then it could be accessed by pressing the time display 3 times and toggling + & - to select, whereas I get the 12/24h mode selection on the 3rd press and no hint of an icon!

I have just tried downloading your latest beta build of v1.8.6 a couple of times but it appears to identify itself as v1.7.17, am I missing something?

Hi All, Also new to the forum, (and weather stations) but can recommend the WH1081 currently on promotion at Maplin for £69.95 (as a USB weather station). Then when married up to the excellent Cumulus software, it can be linked to say weather underground, and you have an excellent budget online weat...
