Re: Fine Offset WH1081 internal memory
Thanks for the replies but that is exactly my point. I cant leave the computer on. So I guess htere is no way to change the length of time before the WH1081 memory gets full? Looks like i will just have to lose a few weeks of data - first time for 12 years

Data Restoration
Hi, Recently had a PC failure and lost a lot of historical weather data back to 2011. I recovered the majority of the data, but not until some months after starting again with a new PC. The new PC has weather data on it from the start of this year. I copied all of the data from the recovered files a...

Re: 1081 Odd Behaviour
I change the batteries once a year in both units but never seen that before. These batteries are just a few months old but could be defective I guess. The rest of the console looks completely normal aside from the date and time. I will change them again as a precautionary measure. The memory in the ...

1081 Odd Behaviour
Hi there, my 1081 has been good as gold since Maplin replaced it 3 yrs ago for the latest model which resolved the problem of temperature spikes occurring when the anemometer transmitted. Yesterday morning I discovered that the time and date had reset back to 12 noon and 01.01.10. The time was not c...

Logging Interval
Hi there, I wonder if anyone could give me a little advice. I have my data log interval set to 15 minutes which I think is the default. Syncronise the fine offset reads is not checked. When I look at the datalog the data appears to be being logged every 30 minutes not 15. Why is this? This is also s...

Re: WH1081 Battery Change
I am not sure if having the USB plugged in and the PC on actually completely prevents the batteries from being discharged by power switching. Maybe someone else knows. I change mine every couple of years as a precaution and the sensor batteries once per year as they dont last too well outside. Skyline
