Re: Degrees symbol encoding

Hi Tony.

That's exactly the same thing as I did/do. 4020 changes mine back to UTF-8 with UTF-8 unchecked though.

Get well soon mate. :)

Re: Degrees symbol encoding

OK, well I have now sorted it after a lot of searching and trying various things. On my mini-pc I had to go to Settings > Time & language > Language & region > Administrative language settings > Change system locale, and check "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support"...

Re: Degrees symbol encoding

How did you get it working Tony? It still doesn't work for me. If I type ALT+0167 min the text file (Saved as UTF-8) I get °C in the processed file. If I manually save the file as ANSI, it shows correctly, but Cumulus MX changes the file back to UTF-8 and I end up with °C again. I've tried everyth...

Re: Important - Highcharts Licensing

Trusted CDN providers have exceptional levels of security.

I have no issue with using them and they can speed up website load times for users in other parts of the world.

PHP 8.* getJSON

Hi I've been updating scripts that have had errors while testing on PHP 8.2. I've got almost everything fixed bar one item: function getwindy(model, step){ $.ajaxSetup({ cache: false }); var moty = getType(); $.getJSON('ewn/ewn/ewn_proxy.php?callback=?',{"model":model,"step":step}...

You shouldn't have to. It comes free with all of their hosting packages.

And so they should, it's free but has to be updated every 3 months. They didn't do that for me though, they were charging me £30 a year until I did some digging.

Re: **NEW** Cumulus Weather Topsites 2013 - Please Join.

This topsites is extremely slow to load, that's why I removed it from my site. Even clicking people's sites that have the counter are slow to fully load, as the browser is waiting on the button. When I look at the network info in my browser when I go to Ray's site, for example, it says the button to...

Re: AirLink stopped reporting

Just got another email to say my AirLink has stopped reporting data.

Although I am still logging data absolutely fine, there's an underlying issue with the AirLink. The graphs look odd..

Wi-Fi on the AirLink is pure crap, but I think the actual sensor is dying. Davis products overall are just crap.
