ah yes, the dreaded smb ajax!

Is it possible to do updates of data like smb, but with PHP? I've got all of the tags I use on my site being uploaded in to a PHP file.

Re: how to upgrade cumulus mx

You just need to copy and paste the files you require. In my case, after downloading a new version and unzipping it to the desktop, I delete all folders from it apart from the interface one. I then copy and paste all of the other files in the main root to C:\CumulusMX\ directory and overwrite them. ...

    Temperature Text Colour

I tried a search on here, but searches don't seem to work for me. I've also had trawl on stackoverflow and can't find anything. I want to experiment in making a new style home page and show various data that is colour coded For example; 30°C 9.3°C 0°C -5°C etc.. Here's a page of colours that I would...

    Re: Dark Sky Forecast

I've downloaded the new one, Ken. I'll implement it to my web page later.

The 'night' icons are back working again, so I assume a bug crept in to their api. :)

    Re: Cumulus PHP-GD Banner

    OK - Looks like I actually managed to do it by myself.. include 'mytags.php'; date_default_timezone_set('Europe/London'); $current = time(); $daytime = strtotime('$sunrise'); $nighttime = strtotime('$sunset'); if($daytime <= $current && $current < $nighttime) { $baseimg = imagecreatefromjpeg("images...

    Re: Cumulus PHP-GD Banner

I was wondering if there were any clever folks (there's lots) that could help me with this banner? I've been using it for years now, and something I would like to do is to have two separate background images, one for day and one for night. I have done the same thing to the banner on my website, but ...

    Dark Sky Forecast

I have noticed that the current conditions on the darksky forecast are not using the night icons any more, it always uses the day icons.

    "Partly Cloudy","icon":"partly-cloudy-day"

I'm not sure if it's an API change their end?

    Re: alltime records editor

I don't know for sure, but you may have an erroneous line somewhere in your dayfile?

I only have just shy of 4 years worth, but both options are working ok for me.

    PHP question

I am not really great at this stuff and only know a few basics, so this has me stumped.. Is there any reason why the below code doesn't work, but entering the numbers manually does? $previousDay = '<?php echo date("Y"); ?>'.'-'; $previousDay .= '<?php echo date("m"); ?>'; $previousDay .= '-'.'<?php ...

    Re: realtime txt workaround

If the two sites are on the same host, surely you can keep the realtime.txt where it is and get both sites to read the file? If that's how I am interpreting it?!
