Re: A Little Day / night Chart Revisited ...

Thanks for the info. I genuinely never knew that about astronomical twilight being from sunset to sunrise in certain latitudes. I understand twilight, and it can be seen. But, there's never been any hint of light on the horizon at this time of night leading up to the Summer solstice. I regularly go ...

Re: A Little Day / night Chart Revisited ...

I'm confused?!

The pie chart shows no section of night time despite there being 8 hours of it.

Re: New Android Application

Barely able to read the text on my Galaxy S10. Also, moon and sun data doesn't appear for me.

Yes, setting the time on the console is costly in processing power, it will not respond on the serial interface for some time whilst it processes the new time. Setting the time also always resets the reception stats.
Ah ok. It all makes sense now.

That puts my mind at rest. :)

Re: Daylight Savings

I decided to set the console clock to 1am in the ini file. After looking at my logs, I see this: 2019-04-17 01:00:28.314 Console time set OK 2019-04-17 01:00:48.432 !!! loop data not received, bytes received = 0 2019-04-17 01:01:00.444 !!! loop data not received, bytes received = 0 2019-04-17 01:01:...

Re: Windy.com now accepting PWS data

For some reason I cannot add a station. I fill everything in and click 'save' and it does absolutely nothing.

Re: Windy.com now accepting PWS data

Thanks Mark, I have the API and read the Windy info but not yet understood what/how to do that and if you do incorporate in CumulusMX sometime I'll learn something new again. Enjoy, Paul Don't quote me on it, but I think you send it via a custom HTTP call for X minutes. It's in the internet setting...

Moon age bug?

I have just noticed that my moon info wasn't showing on my index page. A further investigation shows that <#MoonAge> is being parsed as 30 - I don't think I have ever seen that before?

Re: Daylight Savings

I'm back in here again lol This seems to be an ongoing problem. My Davis console failed to move forward. The console has daylight savings switched on. Cumulus MX has 'synchronise station clock' enabled (checked .ini file) In fact, the time never ever sync's and so the time's end up out of kilter by ...
