    Re: Highcharts Graphs

    Hi Bridger

I would try updating your highcharts js files first. They're on 4.2.3 and the latest versions are up to 8.0.0.

Also, try using the latest jquery js and see how you get on.

    Re: New Record? Post here.

Equalled my gust record of 54mph again. Wind speed managed 29mph. A window of opportunity between 5am and 7am to beat the record when the LEWP moves through here.
My wind run record from last week was 511.8 miles. I'm on 383 miles at the moment.

    Re: This Looks interesting!

What's so interesting about it (apart from some techie sensors)? It does not not seem to be able to be read by Cumulus and it does not seem to be anywhere near a kind of standardized meteo station. Apart from that you share your data and have to pay for it. Or do I miss something about the interest...

    Re: Custom Http Call

David, would using the Minutes interval be feasible? i.e. 1440 set at 00:05 I haven't tried it and not sure what the maximum minutes, or seconds, are. Enjoy, Paul I'm not sure it works like that. You could manage it once by putting in 1441 and hitting save right at the stroke of midnight, but it'll...

    Re: Problem Loading Trends Page

I don't know for certain, but maybe the 8 year old version of jquery could be a hinderance?

Edit: Doesn't crash on my Galaxy S10 using Samsung Internet, but it doesn't render very well due to the css not supporting mobile screens I guess.

    SQL Lightning

Hi Mark - Busy one today.. :) The Ecowitt lightning detector is working an absolute treat today - picked up 12 strikes this afternoon. I'm just in the middle if trying to generate a graph. I'm half way there with it.. As you know, I have a second instance of CMX running specifically for the GW1000 -...

The Today and Yesterday tags <#T/Ybeaufort>,<#T/Ybeaufortnumber>, <#T/Ybeaudesc> all use the peak gust speed which in my opinion is incorrect.

What to do about it though?
If I recorded a peak gust of 54mph yesterday, wouldn't have that shown up as F9?

    31.0

I was looking at my website when the wind got to that speed and <#Tbeaufort> definitely said F7 with the description of near gale. <#Ybeaudesc> is saying near gale.

Edit: Ahh I see. Phew! It wasn't me going lala then?!

The main 'funnel' image is showing inches, but it also shows mm in the top right, which is correct. It's for those who don't know the conversions, so it gives the best of both worlds, so to speak.

    Possible Beaufort Number Bug

During yesterday's storm Ciara, my wind speed got up to 31mph. <#Tbeaufort> returned F7 and <#Tbeaudesc> returned Near Gale which is absolutely fine.

Looking at my 'yesterday' page, <#Ybeaufort> is returning F6. But <#Ybeaudesc> is returning the correct 'Near Gale' description.

    Re: New Record? Post here.

I've uploaded a high resolution radar snapshot of the LEWP at 11:25am. Rain rates of around 200 mm/hr as well as a hail core.

    Re: Wind Run

As it's a measurement of how much wind has passed a given point in a period of time, it can be any duration you want it to be. For most, it will always be 24 hours, whether your station has a rollover time from midnight to midnight or 9am to 9am. :)
