Re: Blizzard in the UK and Highlands.

Well, survived Hurricane Bawbag as it's being called here

A few roof slates off and the sensor pole weighed down with sandbags ensured no wee accidents with the kit which performed just fine.

That was quite a blow.

Re: Fed up now

A bit fed up here too now the floodwater has receded and things are getting back to normal... The telephone exchange in the village was flooded so no phone or internet for almost a week according to BT, luckily sharing a neighbour's wifi for the time being. I'm about 200ft up a hill but when a strea...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates

It's fairly simple. In your Settings-weather.php you have $SITE['WXtags'] = 'CUtags.php'; $SITE['realtimefile'] = '../realtime.txt'; and your tags at http://www.monaghan.tv/weather/ajax/CUtags.php?sce=dump show: // $WX[] array size = 174 entries. $WX['date'] = '1/27/2011'; // The current date $WX['...

Re: Now available: AJAX/PHP multilingual website templates

Got a bit of an odd problem. If you look at the page here; http://www.monaghan.tv/weather/ajax Underneath the thermometer the highs and lows for today and yesterday are displayed. Today shows fine but yesterdays results appear to be stuck both temps and time, the values are wrong anyway as they are ...

Re: Best weather station

Tony (I presume), as suggested by Steve, I highly recommend that you save a little more € (maybe for/until your next year birthday) and buy the fully reliable (well build and very accurate) Davis Instruments wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus (with 24-hour fan aspirated radiation shield) weather station wi...

Re: Best weather station

A Davis, without any doubt. Ideally, a Vantage Pro 2, but that would cost rather more than £500. A compromise would be a Vantage Vue, for under £400 with the data logger. Bear in mind when looking at Davis prices that the stations do not come with the 'Weatherlink' data logger/PC interface as stand...

Best weather station

I'm sure this has been asked before but a forum search didn't turn anything up. If money was no object (well, within say £500), what would be the best weather station hardware that integrates well with Cumulus? Now that I've had my WH1080 for a couple of days and got it all setup with Cumulus and up...
