Re: SebecTec ip time lapse and Cumulus on same pc

Anyone running cumulus and SebecTec IP Time lapse on the same PC? I was wondering about conflicting programs trying to FTP at the same time to the same server. Right now I have them running on separate computer but would rather dedicate just one for the camera and Cumulus. Hi, I have Cumulus & ...

Re: Cumulus ‘Current Conditions’ Alternative v3.0

Hi honestjohn, You need to copy each of the language files to your server since you are using multi Languages, then you will be right. "Most of the Non english language files have been translated by our Cumulus Members. If you wish to use these, copy the contents of each language-xx-local.txt ...

Re: Cumulus ‘Current Conditions’ Alternative v3.0

@honestjohn You have a few problems ! For some reason your wind description is missing and because you have put it in a <frameset> it doesn't know what language the page is working in. EDIT: Ah ... you are using the JavaScript (single language) version in a M ulti L ingual template when you should ...

Re: Cumulus ‘Current Conditions’ Alternative v3.0

Hi everyone.. Have just installed this Saratoga script today at http://www.rushden-weather.co.uk Easy install with great instructions. Will obviously monitor it over the coming days. I've placed the text as a scrolling marquee, which IMO, adds a nice twist to it. Great work guys. Kind regards John

Re: will lightening trigger motion detection on most cameras

I think its great what our cameras are capturing, & its only when you painstakingly interrogate your hard drive, do you find the hidden gems. My camera is set up to capture a frame every 15 seconds, which then automatically updates into a avi video file every hour on the hour. Paul, Your stateme...

Re: will lightening trigger motion detection on most cameras

Ed/Paul Stunning pictures. My station has been running since 2011 and that's the first lightning shot I got. I admit, I had turned the internal webcam from its normal viewing position, to where the storm action was. If I had been away from home, I would have missed it. There are a couple more pics c...

Re: Webcam Advice Sought

Also, for some time I have been thinking of installing a house security system (we live in the country surrounded by farms, etc). Can I combine such a system with a web cam for my weather station, or would it be better to have two completely independent systems? Hi Chris, With an IP camera, you can...

Re: webcan web page up and running, now time for the timelap

Hi Guys, Just stumbled across your post, as I have also just added a time lapse video to my site. I am using images from my Axis M1011 which I use as a front security camera on video analytics, and have IPTimelapse by SebecTec grab images at 30 second intervals. This are uploaded hourly to my site, ...

Re: BT's Global Sager Weathercaster PHP Scripts For Cumulus

Absolutely BT, the West country has been hit the hardest again.

Sager reporting here.....

Showers and cooler; Gale to Strong Gale (39-54 mph) Northeast or East winds becoming Northwest or North winds.

Best regards

John
