Re: ini corrupted, copy from backups don't restore
The 'backup' folders in Cumulus aren't intended to provide a general backup facility; I should perhaps have used a different name, on reflection. They are there solely for the purpose of being able to 'rewind' the data to a previous point in time, and then catch up using logger data from the statio...

Re: ini corrupted, copy from backups don't restore
I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't use a cumulus.ini file that you've copied into the Cumulus folder.... . I NEVER copied C.ini anywhere. I presumed it would have been copied over when the Backups were made by Cumlus. I suggest the .ini be copied over when the others files are backed up. T...

ini corrupted, copy from backups don't restore
Apparently my .ini's got corrupted as when I start C I get a gray background and the Station Settings dialog is shown with apparently original settings. I tried copying the files from backups from earlier days when it was fine but no joy. Still get the same results. C has been running 24/7 for a yea...

Re: Cumulus not loading
How do I reset the station? Just unplug it and take the batteries out?steve wrote:The station just isn't saying anything. Cumulus can tell that it's connected, but it doesn't send any data when Cumulus asks for it. I don't know what to suggest other than resetting the station.
Thanks your reply.

Cumulus not loading
I think I've has this problem before but can't find it back. Cumulus hangs up when loading the data. Everything has been fine for 6 months or more but I happened to unplug the receiver and the display disappeared. Plugged it back in and still faint. Changed the batteries and everything good again {w...

Re: WMR 200 Oregon Scientific
I believe it was on this thread where I complained about the WMR200 eating up the batteries (new set every couple weeks or so). Around Xmas I finally gave it up. In the meantime I contacted (via email) OS. Some back and forth, appropriate delays, etc. I sent the receiver and charger back. in the 1st...

Re: WMR 200 Oregon Scientific
Just hooked up my solar sensor (UVN800) but have no idea if it's working or not. New batteries in it. The solar display in C has 3 settings but I have no idea what they mean or convey. ET 0.0 in Solar Rad 0.0 W/M2 UV 1 Sun The ONLY thing that has changed is UV. it was 0 and changed to 1. It's a brig...

Re: Min temp always 0
I shut C down, edited a couple files (DayFile.txt?) and deleted bum data, renamed most of the .ini files (Old_alltimelog.txt, Old_month.ini, Old_today.ini, Old_year.ini, Old_yesterday.ini) so new iones get built, restored the a couple files from their .bak's. Restarted C. Be still my heart, all seem...

Re: Min temp always 0
Just ran into another problem. I leave C running all day (sometines all night too). Anyway I came up this evening (9 pm) and C was froze up. No readings since 4.30 pm. The WMR200 is still working though. Couldn't shut C down normally (File/Exit) or by Red X. Had to use File Mgr (Alt-Ctl-Del) to shut...

Re: Min temp always 0
Great Joy. Cumulus shows a minimum temp AND pressue this afternoon. Dunno if it's a result of me playing with the time setting on the WMR200 or it just happens to be afternoon (clock off 12 hours). In any case Joy to the World. =========================================== "Suspicion always haunt...

Re: Min temp always 0
It seems to be 12 hours ahead. Must be what it is. I just changed it to the right time (I hope). The WMR200 display is VERY hard to read. At least for me. I can't make out the difference between am & pm. I just set it to military time (I think, won't know until this afternoon {sigh}). Have to w...
