Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Re: Question for Steve

@arneande

I have not tried CumulusMX on a Wintel box yet.

It would be better for you to start a new post relating to your issue and V.26.

Here downgraded back to V.25 on my RPi2 for the time being.

Re: Question for Steve

You should see it locally on your browser. Not sure if you care but you should maybe remove the serial number above from your post. I am still utilizing V.25 and see that you are using V.26. It should not matter though. Here see the same when starting and Cumulus. I am using Firefox here and do have...

Re: Question for Steve

@arneande

Yup Malwarebytes blocks my no-ip dynamic dns links above.

I see the same here using Malwarebytes.

It is just relating to no ip dot com and not the Cumulus web sites.

Re: Is there a way to read the Tx battery voltage from an IS

Yup here had two batteries when I reinstalled the ISS. I know one was older than the other but the voltages were identical on the two batteries. My console is using the AC adapter and batteries. I don't attention as it is always running. I am guessing if there is no juice to the console it will not ...

Re: Is there a way to read the Tx battery voltage from an IS

Here instead of installing just installing a new battery, removed mast and bracket and lowering the ISS to a lower easier to get to other roof on the top of the main floor of the home with an easy going slope. On the top part I had to slide down the roof to the ladder and have the gutter catch me a ...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via

Very nice! Here many boxes used to run Wintel Server. Switching mostly to Linux / BSD. Currently testing the PiPoX7 as a console for automation with connectivity to a multitouch monitor and a Kinect for non touch input. Application running on device connects to the automation mothership running on U...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via

Hello Jan, Thank you! Yup; here typically monitor CPU temps in C only. BTW noticed you have installed CumulusMX on a quad core arm based little computer. Here while still playing with the RPi's have started to play with a tiny Intel Baytrail computer called the PiPoX7. It runs Ubuntu 64 bit pretty f...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via

Hello Jan, Script looks good. Thank you. I did not change anything in lines #1 to #13. Just see a couple of things which you will see in the attached JPG. - date in US is presented as 07/26/15 versus 26/07/15 - Refressh ==> Refresh - Min/Max Pressure is in % versus in - unless this is the way you wa...

Re: RaspberryPi script to display weatherstation values via

Hello Jan. Thank-you for providing the SSH script to the Cumulus community. I am using the RPi2 close to Chicago here. Yup; here installed CumulusMx in the root directory. (well recently on another RPi2 testing automation software which I installed to the root directory). I think I did this to mostl...

Re: Vantage Vue Q's

I am using a Fine Offset, Davis Vantage Vue and Davis Vantage Pro 2. The Fine Offset and Davis Vantage Vue are mounted high up and difficult to get to. Temperature wise they work fine for me and I have not had any issues. The Fine Offset is in Florida and close to the salt water. The Vantage Vue is ...

Re: Is there a way to read the Tx battery voltage from an IS

Yup; yesterday a bit before sunset message went away until this morning. Last fall took the ISS down for maintenance. Over the winter made a new weather station mount painting the mast et al. type stuff. In the spring mounted the new mast and installed the ISS. I understand it is not recommended to ...
