Afternoon - the MQTT function is great - I was wondering if its possible to configure separate topics - rather than a single update - ie
weather/raindday
weather/temp
weather/tempmax
I can see how to configure a single topic but not to add any more (?)
Any thoughts would be great,
Andy

Re: LaMetric LED Cumulus Display
Yep - you just point it at a URL for each metric you want to pull in - this is my live wind php

Re: Small OLED Remote Display Console?
It just pulls in a HTML page -so custom pages for each screen i.e. - wind is http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/wind.htm ) - the background colour changes every 5 degrees. No easy control over the backlight with the Pi though - an ipad/phone sounds your best best, with something like the NightOwl browser...

Re: Small OLED Remote Display Console?
You could use a Raspberry Pi and simply add a screen - i have three running with a live feed of the data from a remote VP2 (image attached/below).
Or you could use a LaMetric and pull in data - or of course any tablet....

Re: LaMetric LED Cumulus Display
It is a little on the pricy side - although if you were in the market for a bluetooth speaker/internet radio, then this doubles up. Just noted the other question ref realtime.txt - we have ours cycling through temperature, pressure, temperature rate per hour, wind etc via a short php script pointing...

Re: <#timeUTC format=
Changing the format fixed the time date - sorry just realised it was a basic question!
Thanks for taking the time to point me in the right direction...

LaMetric LED Cumulus Display
Thought some people might be interested in the LaMetric - its a neat little device that displays data/acts as a bluetooth speaker and Internet Radio. The best bit is you can pull data from realtime.txt and get it auto displaying, i have included a couple of images. http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/lame...

Re: <#timeUTC format=
Just to follow this thread up - my date/time does not seem to be coming up correctly in my rss feed (attempting to use RSS to Lametric - more on Lametric in a future post, we have it running data from Cumulus to the display, its a great little gadget for weather data) - The RSS is http://weather.cas...

Re: Streaming Webcam/Data to YouTube Live
As mentioned blog post on it for anyone interested:
http://www.digitalurban.org/2016/01/str ... -live.html
We opted for xsplit - it streams 720p for free and 1080 with a small watermark - it was remarkably easy to set up once we sorted out the encoder...

Streaming Webcam/Data to YouTube Live
Thought people here might be interested - YouTube now allows a live stream, so i have been trying out an experimental live cam (Logitech 930e) with a data overlay powered by Cumulus: http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/webcam.htm The stream is 720p, so you may need to change the settings to view the full ...

Re: Modified Flat Dashboard
There are still a few issues with scaling - but i kind of like the way it integrates into the whole site and provides an alternative to the (also good) steelseries - its now linked up via the gauges link: http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/ Works well on an ipad/HDTV and pc/mac as long as you dont resize...

Re: Modified Flat Dashboard
Hi, Hope its ok to ask this - I have just revisited the flat dashboard now i am running MX - i have changed the pointer to the new realtime.txt file but now nothing loads and thought i would see if its an obvious fix rather than diving in and breaking things further... http://www.casa.ucl.ac.uk/cumu...

Re: Token Error
Thanks for the quick reply - would that means that one of my pages - http://weather.casa.ucl.ac.uk/ has an error in the use of the tag or would the error be elsewhere? Sorry for the Q, not sure where to find the file to edit/find the problem..
