Re: Ecowitt.net login
Hmm tried that and it didn't work, until I discovered that MS Edge has a time period it deletes cached files and cookies etc. over. Once I set that to ALL TIME it worked!! Didn't realise that EDGE had such a facility, thought that if you told it to delete cached files and cookies it would do everyth...

Re: Ecowitt.net login
Yes I would agree Freddie, but if I choose an option it tells me that I have to have logged in with a User ID.
Think I will try a support email to Ecowitt!! Just thought someone might have come up against this problem and knew the solution.

Ecowitt.net login
I was trying to help a new user set up there login at Ecowitt.net and stupidly logged myself out of the browser access to the Dashboard. I cannot find how to log back in. The "Your Name" bit just says "Logout" and "Reset to Default View" and none of the other Icons in t...

Re: Ecowitt not constantly uploading to Cumulus
My guess is you have the wrong time zone selected or the wrong NTP server selected in your device.

Re: Ecowitt not constantly uploading to Cumulus
There is no evidence of any data failing to upload or any connection failures to your Ecowitt device, but then again it is a very short MXDiags file. What makes you think that not all data is being uploaded? Suggest you turn on debug logging as well as data logging, and run CumulusMX until you can s...

Re: Dayfile Help
In the Cumulus Admin Console, Data Logs > Dayfile.
CumulusMX presumably has already told you the duplicate line(s) so go there and delete the line.

Re: 504 gateway error message
I use SFTP but FTPS is just as good. It will work just as easily as upload.php. The only change is if you are using Extra Web Files in which case you would have to alter the upload path on the Destination File Name to include a full path. Also you would have to fill out the details required for the ...

Re: Problem with the records menu
Correct, the files in the /data directory should all be copied BEFORE you start CumulusMX, that way it will pick up all the existing data.

This is the correct all alltime.ini that should have been copied into your data directory.

Re: Problem with the records menu
I would agree with Freddie. It looks like he started MX before he copied all the .ini files and data files. Hence when MX starts it finds only April Data. If he copies ALL the .ini files and data files over the new Data folder I think that the missing data will appear.

Re: Problem with the records menu
To be clear the log files are in the MXDiags folder and called 202404xx-xxxxxx.txt. They can get quite large (20MB) so you may have to zip them in order to attach them to your post. If you set the logging options, close CMX and then reload it, the one will want to see is the latest dated file in tha...

Re: Finding a few basic needles in a mass of haystacks
Paul isn't quite correct about the Wiki being a bit out of date, I write a piece on how to use the Configuration Wizard to get you started with CumulusMX https://www.cumuluswiki.org/a/First_Run_of_MX
