Re: Error 'Station not initialised'

This is dealt with in the FAQ in the Wiki https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/a/FAQ#When_I_start_Cumulus.2C_I_get_the_error_message_.22The_station_is_not_initialised.22 Make sure you totally reset the station by removing the batteries and the USB cord and wait for 20 seconds and then put them back in an...

Re: FTP Error code 500

FTP 500 is the catch all error when nothing else fits. It is usually a misconfiguration of the FTP i.e. wrong directory etc. Suggest you set Cumulus FTP logging and then look in ftplog.txt to see what the problem is. See the wiki here https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/a/FAQ#Directory_related_problems_...

Re: Uploading Cumulus 1.9.4 to 123.reg host

Not sure what you mean by "www/gauges-ss.htm " which is not a URL. Are you asking where you find them for download or where they should be on your site. What you posted doesn't make sense in either case as the latest source to the gauges is on GitHub and the URL for site would be www.yourweathersite...

Re: Uploading Cumulus 1.9.4 to 123.reg host

What they mean by "Public" is the public access point to your web site not /Public.

It will either be /public_html or /htdocs but to check just log in with your FTP client (Filezilla?) you used to transfer the Cumulus Web Files and you will see the layout on the server displayed.

Re: Acu-Rite (aka AcuRite) Support and APRS

As far as can see this is not supported in either version of Cumulus and the Wiki confirms this. It would seem that in order to get your data to a computer etc. you have to have one of these https://www.acurite.com/access-my-acurite-remote-monitoring.html and even then it is one of those stations th...

Re: Webspace Change

That is more likely to be an incorrect directory in the Webspace folder/Directory as per the wiki https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/a/Simple_Website_setup

It should be something like public_html or htdocs.

Re: Instructions: Installing CumulusMX on Raspberry Pi

◾Serial device names on Linux are not COM0 etc as in Windows. You need to specify something like /dev/ttyUSB0 - do a dmesg at a command line prompt and look for the actual device name from your adapter. If dmesg says your cp210x converter (as on Davis stations) is attached to ttyUSB0, for example, ...

Just to clarify Mark, should these beta testers be Cumulus MX users running Linux/Unix users or will Windows Users also be OK?

Re: Cumulus pressure calibration

You shouldn't have to use an offset if you have set your Fine Offset up correctly. I think you are not using the Relative reading, see this Wiki article. https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/a/FAQ#C ... et_console
