    CumulusMX Gauges

Mark, the version of the gauges released as part of the MX release is 2.5.5.

Is there an intention to upgrade this to the latest release or is this a job that should be carried out by the site owner?

Re: no data upload via FTPS to web site

Mark I got FileZilla to work by using "Require explicit FTP over TLS", using the IP address of my host in Host (TsoHosts advice), Normal login with my default FTP User and Password (in TsoHosts case that is the same as the Cpanel), setting the the default remote directory in the advanced tab, and la...

Re: no data upload via FTPS to web site

Tsohost has changed the folder structure.. instead /public_html now is set up at /home/raulsbdc/public_html uploading now fine with sftp.. I thought I ought to just mention that Raul is not quite correct. TsoHosts have NOT changed their directory structure it is just that SFTP being an SSH based me...

Re: no data upload via FTPS to web site

Though apparently tsoHost support SFTP, enabled through cPanel.
I have looked at the cPanel and cannot see an option to do this. Can you point me to where you read it?

    Just checking .......

Am I right in thinking that CumulusMX has not fully started up until you see"Ctrl-C to terminate" in the command window? Or should it say "Normal Running"?

    TLS connection and FileZilla

Has anyone figured out how to use FileZilla to access a site that uses FTP over TLS. Specifically, I can get it to connect using "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available" but it just sits there saying "Retrieving directory listing" and eventually times the connection out saying "Failed to retrieve di...

Re: Cumulus unable to upload to website

Looks like your ISP has changed their FTP server to only use TLS connections, hence why it is saying "Please reconnect using TLS security mechanisms" and then "Sorry, cleartext sessions and Weak Ciphers are not accepted on this server".

Re: Updated and now browser shows 'Connection Closed'

I assume you started Cumulus as root using "sudo mono CumulusMX.exe", because the 200 code means "Such a response means the remote resource located at the URL doesn't listen or at least can't respond to a websocket request."., which would happen if Cumulus could not open the listening port because i...

    Re: Old Cumulus vs new

You need the weather directory as a subdirectory UNDER public_html with all the Cumulus MX files in there and then your URL will be http://www.oldfelixstowe.co.uk/weather/index.htm

    Re: Old Cumulus vs new

I don't think that the remote site is showing te complete path on your server. Here is an example from mine and you can see the complete path on the remote server is /public_html/weather/ http://www.dmjsystems.co.uk/filezilladj.JPG That complete path is what should be in Directory and all the files ...

    Re: Old Cumulus vs new

You have nothing in Directory which is the path to your website on your server as indicated by the path in Filezilla.

It is usually something like /public_html/ or /htdocs/

Re: CumulusMX - new install 'standard' web page

Do you mean the main setup page in the CumulusMX frontend. If you do this is accessed by booting up your browser of choice and entering the URL http://your machines IP address:8998 e.g. http://192.168.1.20:8998. The MX interface will open in the browser and you hen go to Settings to enter the Lat / ...
