Re: IP camera software

Not at all sure that this NAS can be accessed via a command line. Buffalo Terrastation TS5200D is the model.

Re: IP camera software

Thanks for the offer, but I should have been more specific that I need them for a Windows network.

Although would they run on a NAS?

IP camera software

I want to use some free software to take a snapshot from an IP camera on a local network every 1/2 hour so I can stitch them together to produce a time lapse video.

Any suggestions for some reliable software please?

Re: RSHosting Upload Issues

Puzzled as to why a Hosting company would give incorrect information like that, they should know the FTP path to the web area is Public_html, and NOT the root path.

Anyway glad my suggestion worked.

Re: RSHosting Upload Issues

I would try using

Code: Select all

public_html/cumulus
in the directory setting as this is the normal path for that type of server.

Re: The 1st Month with CumulusMX

The memory on all FineOffset weather stations is dynamic and cyclic (i.e. it chooses where to start and once the memory is full it starts reusing the are with the oldest data in it), so there is no reason to purge the memory with EasyWeather unless you want to get rid of erroneous readings.

Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3

David I have looked at the wiki and cannot find anywhere it says to add another file transfer. Could you kindly be more specific and tell me which file it is. FYI, I am using CumulusMX and a lot of the wiki refers to cumulus 1. And what is the 'files tab"? Thanks in advance. Ignore me, I forgot tha...

Re: installing Steel Gauges v 2.7.3

I have gauges-ssT.htm in my cumulus web folder but it does not create a gauges-ss.htm. gauges-ss.htm shouldn't exist in your web folder just on your web site. If you have set it up correctly you have to add an additional file transfer via FTP to the files tab, that processes gauges-ssT.htm, uploads...

Re: SQL LOGS

Where exactly are you holding your Cumulus MX MySQL database? If it is on a server supplied by your hosting company you should have access to it via the Cpanel area. If you have set up your own host using Apache Server for instance then download phpmyadmin from here https://www.phpmyadmin.net/ insta...

Re: SQL LOGS

Any reason why you cannot run phpMyAdmin in a browser on the database server and remove the data that way? That is what I always used to do.
