SSL (TLS) Connection to MX
Would it be possible to make the connection to MX over SSL (TLS)? e.g., HTTPS instead of HTTP?

Would it be possible to add a login for the MX settings so that they cannot be edited so easily?

Re: Website Upload with Pre-Shared Key (SSH/SFTP)
That makes sense. Other solutions that I use (e.g., FreeNAS/TrueNAS, UniFi) you either upload a file or cut-and-paste the key into a text box.
I'll go back to uploading the files as part of a script as I was doing with Cumulux 1.x until the feature gets added.

Website Upload with Pre-Shared Key (SSH/SFTP)
Hi Folks - I'm using Cumulus MX 3.6.2 b3078 running on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. My external website resides on a hosted server runnig Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS. I have the webserver host only accepting ssh with pre-shared key. My problem is that the web data does not get uploaded by Cumulus MX. The strange thin...

Migrating from Cumulus 1 to MX - Pre-shared SSH Key
Hi folks - I am in the process of migrating from Cumulus 1 to Cumulus MX (in Docker). Is there any template (I know that I will have a bunch of formatting to do) to migrate the data files from 1 to MX? I noted in the MX configuration that there is FTPS available. Is there any way to use SFTP or SCP ...

Re: Crash - Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and MX Build 3025
I think that I was trying something not too bright - I have Cumulus 1 also running against the weather station at the same time.
I don't think that I can have two Cumulus instances running against one station - am I correct?

Re: Cumulus MX (Cumulus 3) beta test
Hi Steve,
I'm currently running a Davis VantagePro 2 with Cumulus 1.9.4.1099 using IP. Current OS is Windows 7 as a VMware ESXi 5.5 virtual machine.
Will be running CentOS 6.6 ("free" version of Red Hat 6.6) also as a VMware ESXi 5.5 virtual machine.
Thanks
Mike

Re: PHP web page fails when error message contains quotes
I do not have the actual error from the PHP file (clearing the error in Cumulus and restarting Cumulus updates the web tag "fixing" the problem). These are the lines with the before and after tags; the error was with the $LatestError tag. It looked something like this (the position of the ...

PHP web page fails when error message contains quotes
Hi folks, I think that I just found a bug with Cumulus 1.9.4.1085. My antivirus had a Cumulus data file locked during a full scan which caused Cumulus not be able to write to the file in the $LatestError variable. Cumulus put the error into the file uploaded to my website as it should have. However,...

Re: Problem with updating wunderground
Okay, found it. The problem was that the password was created using a password generator and complex passwords. If there is an ampersand ("&") in the password it will break the upload string...

Problem with updating wunderground
Okay folks - Here's the problem: I can no longer upload to wunderground. I have validated by station name and password; e.g. cut-and-paste station ID from wunderground into cumulus, logged into wunderground with the password, typed out the password and cut-and-paste into wunderground (works) and cut...

Moving to Davis VP2 - WL USB or IP?
Hi Folks, I'm fed up with my Oregon Scientific WMR200 (anemometer is getting slower, rain gauge decided to quite) and moving to a Davis Vantage Pro 2. My question is should I order the USB or IP version of Weather Link? Davis said since I was using a third party software (Cumulus) I should use USB. ...
