Well I've cleared the duff data and set windspeed to 7m/s

I will check to see if any more spikes are recorded and will copy log files

Hi Steve, I have set spike removals for everything. However I noted the wind data is in m/s. I have set these to 25 m/s for Wind Gust and Windspeed. I assume this isn't good enough Just googled the conversation between mph and m/s and it looks like I need to lower the value to something like 7 m/s? KL

Point taken. I will read properly before making changes!

Will also have a look at upgrading! You shouldn't make the software so damn useful. I was up for binning the station and getting a Davis for Christmas!

Have you tried the spike removal settings in Cumulus - on the calibration screen? You're using an old, beta version of Cumulus, by the way. Strange one and not sure if I can help. But I am having regular temp spikes for my outdoor sensors and wind spikes.

Typically I will see -12 and wind speeds over 100mph

I wonder if my device is on the way out?
