Re: NOAA Report Problem

And BTW, you have some issues with your September log file... Code: Select all Error at line 4848 of data\Sep21log.txt : Input string was not in a correct format. Error at line 5195 of data\Sep21log.txt : Input string was not in a correct format. These are preventing your NOAA monthly report being ...

Problems noticed after using Interface dayfile editor

I noticed some erroneous "Total hours of sunshine" and "High solar rad" on my Interface graphs from the end of June and early July - I don't have any solar sensors so rarely look at this graph. I used the Interface dayfile editor to remove the readings. On each save I noticed a MySql error occuring ...

Accessibility points

A couple of accessibility points from mdlawler. I'm pretty sure the first one has been discussed before, and I think that Michael needs the alt attribute set to "moon", as the percentage comes from elsewhere ... I think! 1. I'd like to see the alt attribute "moon" rather than just "" for the moon im...

Re: NOAA files not uploading to web page

I will leave my installation in the default Windows location (where Cumulus 1 put it The Cumulus 1 installer allows you to choose where to install the program, and the recommendation even with Cumulus 1 is not to install in the program files area - see https://cumuluswiki.org/a/FAQ#What_do_I_need_t...

Re: Default website - change date format?

The first few lines of your MXdiags log file after a restart of MX should show you the locale in use.

Re: Default website - change date format?

Do you have a link to your site? The only parameter I can think of off the top of my head is when you include an alternative locale in the parameters passed to MX at start-up.

Yes, follow earlier advice and move your Cumulus installation somewhere other than Program Files.

Re: Console, Gauges, Feels Like - unexpected temp

Did you upgrade from build 3.13.1? If not then it will be a full upgrade. The feels like gauge works fine for me.

Re: WOW uploads

OK I switched off catch up on WOW but I am still getting that error. My interval is set at 5 minutes would that be causing it? My interval is set to 5 minutes too, but I'm getting OK response. It could be that you've run a catch-up recently and your tally of requests is still a bit high. I would ch...

Re: UK back to imperial system

Identity politics? If the Brits are happy with mixed then it's more like personal choice. We're perfectly happy to use metric where it is the standard (i.e. most things!).

Re: Custom Alarm Function

It's a simple enough proposal. It won't be affected by XSS if you code it appropriately. I would implement it internally to your LAN if it was just a lack of updates that you wished to notice. The only reason I would do it from another web host out in the wild was if you wanted to notice lack of acc...

Re: WOW uploads

The lack of comprehension comes from .NET and Mono labelling of HTTP response code 429 - which is an established response code using when rate-limiting access to resources. WOW will return 429 based on number of requests in a period of time PLUS system load at the time - so not a particularly predic...

Re: UK back to imperial system

https://ukma.org.uk/why-metric/myths/consumer-protection/ provides a more balanced view of the article. In a nutshell, traders were legally obliged from the year 2000 to measure by using the metric system goods sold to consumers. The UK has continued to use both imperial and metric units in everyday...
