Re: yesterday.ini not updating
Use the Today's Rain Editor to fix that before the next rollover I tried that but the only editable field was "Today's rain" which was already set to zero. Screenshot 2023-01-28 at 23.33.41.png Still, the 24 hour rain in Today/Yesterday is down from 11.4 metres to only 8.5 metres, so that...

This one seems to be coming up a lot recently! The log file you posted is too short, but it is probably this... yesterday.ini not updating
Hi all, I seem to have crocked my installation of Cumulus MX somewhat. I upgraded to v.3.23.1 build 3221 three days ago on 23rd January. I also corrected the dayfile to remove some erroneous rain data (my Davis VP2 needs a new rain sensor or transmitter). Since then the yesterday.ini has not been up...

Re: Enhancements for correcting bad historical data and records
You can do it all through the interface screens now. Start with the log file editor. If you do the correction before rollover then you can skip the dayfile editor. Then use the records editors. Yo What is the 'log file editor'? In Cumulus MX all I see under Edit is the following: https://i.imgur.co...

Any 32/64 bit issues with Catalina or Big Sur?
Hi all, I have been running CumulusMX without issues for a few years on a MAC using the 'sudo mono CumulusMX.exe -lang en-GB' command. I am looking to upgrade to OSX from Mojave (10.14.6) to Catalina and them maybe onto Big Sur. Apple dropped support for 32 bit apps at Catalina. My question is, will...

Cumulus MX upgrade
Apologies if this has been covered before but I can't find an answer... I have been running Cumulus MX 3.0.0 b3043 for quite a while on OXS and I notice there is a later version 3050, which I have downloaded. I have taken a back-up of my current data folder. I cannot see anything that looks like an ...

Re: Steel Series Gauges results in Aw Snap Error using Chrome
I have started getting the Aw Snap error on Cumulus MX (http://localhost:8998/index.html). I am running Chrome on a Mac High Sierra 10.13.4 (17E202). There was an OSX security patch applied today, since when I get the Aw Snap error (might be a coincidence of course). The Cumulus MX page reloads fine...

Weather underground not showing history
Hi, just on the off chance, does anyone have any ideas as to why my weather station ISTOURPR2 is not showing any weather history? https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=ISTOURPR2#history Screen Shot 2017-05-02 at 13.21.16.png I appreciate it has only been uploading since ...

Re: Davis Pro2 connection questions
Success!
I did as you suggested and when I restarted MX after 30 minutes MXdiags showed three log entries at 10 minute intervals being written!
I'll now see whether that helps with the apparently intermittent connection problems.
Thanks for all the advice Steve!

Re: Davis Pro2 connection questions
Is there any way I can confirm that the logger is now recording in 10 minute intervals?

Re: Davis Pro2 connection questions
Thanks Steve, the Ctrl-J seemed to work... TEST <Ctrl-J> came back with TEST and SETPER 10 <Ctrl-J> came back with OK. I did NEWSETUP <Ctrl-J> too but there was no real reaction there. I do seem to be having quite a few intermittent issues seeing the serial port - just going to change my USB cable i...

Re: Davis Pro2 connection questions
No joy sadly :( I can connect to the logger using the 'screen /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART 19200' command in terminal (sometimes I get the 'Resource busy' message but disconnecting and reconnecting the usb cable solves that)... But I can see no way to send the TEST or any other command to the logger. Jus...
