Re: Aircraft (planes, google loon etc) spotting.
I am rf/microwave engineer and have some info to others to that topic. I am personally living in Prague, Czech Republic and the air traffic over Europe is quite dense, inclusive the capital. The signals from the transponder on the airplane is very strong and in case of having airplanes in high eleva...

Re: problem in logfile name after uprgrade from XP to Win 7
Do not worry, the problem was solved, I think that the most important is to be able to find such information and be able to correct it.
Thanks again for your support and a nice and usefull program for Weather Stations indeed.
Best regards and happy Christmas from Prague,
Vojtech.

Re: problem in logfile name after uprgrade from XP to Win 7
I can not confirm your statement. In standard setting the MMM is not present nor used here, even if I set it manually in the extended setting, i still get latin numbers. Attached is the picture from the setting. I am still getting only latin numbers for month description. For controll, I have added ...

Re: problem in logfile name after uprgrade from XP to Win 7
Hello Steve, thanks for the fast reply. I do not know the reason, but I am convinced, that the Roman letters are not prefered in our date format. In case of setting in W7, all of available possibilities show month in latin, the date is the first (dd), month second and year (rrr -in Czech rok) as las...

problem in logfile name after uprgrade from XP to Win 7
Hello all, I like the Cumulus and I am using it with WH1080 from year 2011. So I am having quite lots of datafiles, which I would like to keep. After upgrading to W7, I want to be able to use this data and display them inclusive graphs too. The main problem after solving some typical Cumulus crashes...

Re: three annoying problems with Cumulus and ws-1080
Hello, yesterday I have decided to solve the database problem. You were right, I have found in the setting, that there was a comma "," there instead of ".". As far as it is much more easy to change some commas in the database to ".", I have done that. First I did it onl...

Re: three annoying problems with Cumulus and ws-1080
Hello Steve, thanks for your fast reply to all my points. Concerning the processing speed it is relative, although my PC with Quad processor is able to do a huge amount of calculations (16bit FFT with 2Msaples online) I was comparing that with the processing the "few" entries of the meteos...

three annoying problems with Cumulus and ws-1080
Hello all, I have three very annoying problems with Cumulus 1.9.2 and WH-1080. 1)when the Cumulus processing the data entries, read from the 1080, it is terribly slow, maybe 2 entries per second, so processing of a week data with 5min periods takes minutes to be done. I am convinced, that the first ...
