NOAA Summary window font problem
Hi, Does anyone have a solution to the following or had the same problem? The NOAA summary pages in cumulus for the past few days are now opening on my Windows Vista computer in faded weak font. Almost like an old typewriter has run out of ink. I have checked all my screen parameters and Firefox, ja...

Re: 1.2mm of rain yet its sunny
Thank you for you help Steve. Will do as suggested. I stuffed up when I bought the data logger and did not buy the version Weatherlink IP. Hence I keep the joy of my weather stats to myself and not having my computer humming away continuously. Last price I found to right my stupidity was $195 USD + ...

1.2mm of rain yet its sunny
Hi, Yesterday and today Cumulus has been reporting 1.2mm of rain in today, hourly and month totals yet its sunny (and cold). Weatherlink for April reports 0.0 mm of rain. The 1.2mm in Cumulus yesterday has not accumulated with the 1.2mm from this morning. Looked at editing the day file for yesterday...

Re: Remove non data years
Hi Steve,
Actually I only use the Cumulus windows, no web pages etc.
The "Year" pull down menu is at the bottom of the View - "This month" or "This year" with an Update display button next to it.
Cheers

Remove non data years
Hi,
Does anyone know how I can change the year pull down menus in the month & year records? I would like to remove 2003 to 2009 as I had no station then.
Thanks

Re: Wind Speed Indicator
Hi Steve, the problem is not due to Cumulus as the console shows the same max speeds in all the records. I saw the specs saying 290km/hr and even when it says 100km gusts here in Brittany...68 is still the max. The other day the heavy wooden garden table was blown off the SW facing terrace.

Re: Wind Speed Indicator
I have noticed since I bought my Vantage Vue (2yrs ago) and is located in the middle of a field at 2.5m off the ground that even when we have storm winds the maximum wind or gust registered is between 64 and 66 km/hr. I have a feeling that the machine can't count and quicker. Did you manage to regis...

Average wind Cumulus NOAA annual vs Weatherlink
Hi Can anyone explain why today I found that the wind average here is two different values. Cumulus NOAA annual report 2012 to date has average wind at 12.6mk/hr The same report in Weatherlink gives 6.2km/hr. My weather software is only downloaded every couple of days and the software does not remai...

Cumulus window on 2nd screen
Is it possible to set the Cumulus window to open on a second screen or in its last used position? Currently it opens always in the middle of screen 1.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Might be switching to a Vue
You need to buy the Vantage Vue "metric" version. I found http://www.scientificsales.com/Davis-Va ... s-s/34.htm to be the best price.
Buy weatherlink and the data logger (2 different types) at the same time to save on you postage. (my big mistake !!)

Re: Davis Weather Vue
Just remembered....choose the right Weatherlink version. USB if you plan on keeping your data local with no website or the Weatherlink IP version which is slightly more expensive but allows the exporting of data to websites etc. Again I bought the wrong version....and now have the pleasure of keepin...
