Restore Cumulus after Computer Crash

I had a major computer crash yesterday and need to replace some Cumulus files from backup. This page, http://www.smlweather.com/cumulus/monthlyrecord.htm, shows my problem. What file from a backup should I replace to correct the start data from 18 March 2016 to actual start date of 23 June 2006 and ...

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

Thanks everyone for the help. I suppose I should have said that while I do have at least "compatible" spreadsheet programs on my computer, I have never had the need to learn to use them. Guess I do now.

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

Steve, Another question on this subject. Because I did not convert WL files to Cumulus in order, dayfile.txt is all jumbled up. Is there a way to re-order it?

TIA

Re: Cumulus "ready made" web page question

Steve, Thanks so much for humoring me. I hate it when I try things, then don't completely check for unforeseen consequences, and don't discover said consequences till so far in the future that I don't remember the original act. Oh well, I have returned the page to its original condition. Thank you f...

Re: Cumulus "ready made" web page question

Thanks for looking Steve. I'm using Firefox. The interesting thing is I also support (long distance) http://www.smlweather.com/Bluefield/index.htm and this one does compress. The original page is from Cumulus 1.9.4, build 1095 and the second page is from Cumulus 1.9.2 build 1025

Cumulus "ready made" web page question

Hello, I am having a minor cosmetic problem with my "ready made" Cumulus web page. I expect there is a problem with indexT.htm but I don't know how to find it. The problem is the table of values does not compress when the window is reduced in size horizontally. The web page specifically is...

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

Steve,

"I think you mean "entries" rather than "files"."

You are correct, and this time everything seems correct. Thank you so much.

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

Steve,
I think you've got it, thanks, EXCEPT :D it is only converting 1 file for each day instead of, in my case, 1 file every 15 minutes or 96 files per day.

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

Steve, Hate to bother you again but, while I have made progress, things still are not quite right. I opened WL, then opened "Browse the Station Data". I then went to the first of the month and on virtually every month, there was an error as you displayed. I then highlighted the error lines...

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

Thanks Steve,

I have been piddling some here and may have found a way to correct the monthly errors. If I have success, I'll let you know what I did.

Thanks again,

Re: Weatherlink to Cumulus log converter

I have tried to run WLconverter.exe a couple of times. The following error is displayed.

"Wlconverter
'2014/6/1 64990:65528:0.0'is not a valid date and time."

The file I am trying to convert is 2014-06.wlk, produced by WL 5.8.1

What can I do to correct this.

TIA

George
