Re: Davis WeatherLink IP Site and Cumulus
radon360: from an earlier post of Steve's: "First, your Weatherlink site. As I understand it, there is what you might call a design deficiency with the Weatherlink IP device in that it can only handle one TCP/IP connection at a time. So, if Cumulus is gathering data using that connection, the d...

Authentication Required
Since launching my site qcycweather.info a few weeks ago I've noticed a regular message (Authentication Required) that pops up asking for log-in information. Talked to my web hosting company (GoDaddy) and the only idea they had was that a script might be causing the issue. I'm running Cumulus 1.8.9 ...

Re: Static IP Setup for VP2
You're right, weatherlink.com does not update if Cumulus is running. AWEKAS, weatherunderground.com and PWS are happy to co-exist with Cumulus though. This is not much of a problem though since weatherlink.com is not particularly "feature rich". It's strength is that there is nothing else ...

Re: Static IP Setup for VP2
I got if finally! I had tried earlier using the DHCP assigned IP address in a browser to reach the config page for the WLIP connector without success. I have just figured out that if Cumulus is running, the browser config page for WLIP cannot be reached. You must first close Cumulus and then try the...

Static IP Setup for VP2
I think this question should be easy to answer but so far I have`nt found anything here or on other forums - so here goes... My VP2 sensor suite sends its data to my website through a Weather Envoy that is connected to a router with the WLIP connector. The Cumulus 1.8.9 station setup asks for an IP ...

Re: Cumulus and AWEKAS Cohabitation
Yes, it was just the process box. No matter how carefully I think I read the notes I always seem to miss something!

Cumulus and AWEKAS Cohabitation
I'm new to the forum and to weatherstations and to web site design. Been reading about and experimenting with AWEKAS and Cumulus for the last couple of weeks. Nothing has seemed to be all that complicated so far. I originally connected my VP2 station (TCP/IP connection - no solar/UV) to my web page ...
