Re: Web Tag <DaysSince30Dec1899>

I wish there was a tag to indicate the station age (in days), which in my case is greater than the number of days I've been using Cumulus.

Web Tag <DaysSince30Dec1899>

Has anyone had success with the web tag <DaysSince30Dec1899> (replacing 30Dec1899 with their own date)? I've tried it and it doesn't deliver a value. My date is 18 June 2005. I've tried "Jun" as well as "June". Neither worked.

Re: Humidity Maxes Out at 98%

I didn't think there were any sensors that achieved 100% unless they were under water ? Don't I remember a 'setting' somewhere to treat 98% as 100% - there is in Cumulus if not in your console. There is a setting, but it seems intended for Oregon Scientific stations (according to Cumulus help). The...

Humidity Maxes Out at 98%

Has anyone else had this issue with their VP2? The odd thing is, several years ago, I used to see 100% humidity readings.

I just had my T/H sensor replaced, we'll see if that makes a difference.

Re: New VP2- Protecting Old Data

Interesting. I thought the little Keyspan device between the console and my computer was essentially an adapter. I didn't realize it had any onboard memory.

Re: New VP2- Protecting Old Data

Your method sounds much simpler!

Silly question: where is the "logger"? I assumed the old data lived in the console until it was downloaded on to my computer.

Re: New VP2- Protecting Old Data

I was able to purge most of the bad data by first deleting the "bad" days in the dayfile.txt, correcting the corrupted "all-time records", then shutting down Cumulus and deleting several files in the data folder. Finally I deleted some of the NOAA reports from my server, so they would re-generate wi...

Re: New VP2- Protecting Old Data

6 weeks after sending my VP2 to Davis for service, I received it and put it back into service. I followed instructions for clearing all data from the console ("Clear All Command") before launching Cumulus. Despite this, it downloaded all the strange data from when the station was in service at Davis...

Re: New VP2- Protecting Old Data

Are you referring to the setting on the right side of the Cumulus setup menu?

New VP2- Protecting Old Data

I'm sure this question has been asked 1,000 times, so forgive me. I'm having Davis re-furbish my VP2 which has been in use since '05. Once I receive my new ISS and console and hook it up, I want to make sure I don't lose all my previous data, records, etc. Not clear once I run Cumulus for the first ...

Re: Gauges Appear different on different browsers

'cause Edge isn't doing a very good job of rendering them? There are no graphics files in the gauges, they are "drawn" with code, it's up to the browser to show the result, it doesn't look like Edge does a very good job of it. Microsoft are dropping Edge - at last they are going to move to a decent...

They look virtually identical to me.
The gauges on the Edge browser are transparent. You see the sky and clouds through the face.

I think I may actually prefer it!

Gauges Appear different on different browsers

Interesting how the gauges appear this way on Chrome:
1.PNG
And this way on Microsoft's Edge Browser:
2.PNG
Any ideas why?

Re: NOAA Monthly Reports

Thanks, Mark!

My misplaced third arrow should have pointed to the "28".

Thanks for clarifying!

NOAA Monthly Reports

At the bottom of the monthly reports, there are odd entries for "time". See below. Can someone explain?
