Hello I am trying to install my original cumulus software on a new computer. When I try to open it after several error codes it finally asks me to put the MXDiags on this forum which I have enclosed.

Migrate old data
Is there anyone who can take me through step by step (an idiot guide) the procedure of transferring my data from cumulus to cumulusMX. I have followed the steps on wiki but it does not work. I am pretty sure it will be me who is placing the files in the wrong areas. Much appreciate anyone who can ta...

Re: Uk based davis anemometer repair service
I think it is an excellent idea. I would have liked someone to go one step further. Something like an annual maintenance service, where your equipment can be cleaned checked and calibrated. Unfortunately I have no ladders long enough to access my roof and even if I did I don,t think I would want to ...

Re: Why di you move to Cumulous from WD?
I do not keep my computer on 24/7, so therefore I have to download the data after several days. I found WD did not handle these downloads well. As someone else has said earlier in the thread it was prone to giving errors, i.e missing data, incorrect data etc. It is also a very complex program (I can...

Computer Turned On
This I believe is an obvious answer to my question, but I will ask anyway.
Does my computer have to be permanently switched on with Cumulus running, to put it on my own website.?
Or is there any gadgets out there which bypass the computer.

Re: Cannot delete High Rainfall Amount
Thanks very much Steve. All working fine again.
I remember seeing that thread about shutting down before midnight, but the penny never dropped until it happened to me.
Now I do know and for any others, please do take note.
Thanks once again Steve and I look forward to the new version.

Cannot delete High Rainfall Amount
Every day when I download the stored data, the daily rainfall and the last hour of rain comes out at 401.8mm. I have tried amending the data in the day file and in the monthly file, however on the next download the rainfall once again comes out at 401.8mm. Although this has been initially added to t...

Re: Cumulus 1 development
Steve, I think cumulous 1 is fantastic. It is stable ( much better than the competitors) and easy to use. What is the benefit on working on two different versions for us as your customers. Surely dividing your time between two versions is surely half your time wasted (or am I missing the point here)...

Daily Diary - Thunder
Firstly congratulations on an excellent program. As good, if not better than the ones you have to pay a lot of money for. Donation on the way through Paypal. One improvement I would like to see - In the daily diary you have the facility to enter days when snow is falling and the depth, this will the...
