Running MX via a Tablet OS

Hi

Has anyone got any experience of running Cumulus MX from either of the following types of tablets :-

1.5GHz Quad Core 1GB RAM Android KitKat

Windows 10 Mobile 1GB RAM Quad Core

I would be using a USB data input from a Davis Vantage Pro

Now that is interesting about the life issue, what have you been using to store data when you have been using your Pi?

Update:
The issue appears to be that the USB stick is becoming corrupted.
This has now happened on 2 occasions on the last one it lasted around about 8 hours before becoming corrupted.
You can fix the problem by scan an repair. I am going to replace the USB stick and retest

So i have an idea what to check for regarding your comment "Has the device been mounted read only for some reason?" what would you like me to look at, as I have done no deliberate action regarding "Read only".

Sorry to say, shorty after i sent my replay the gauge web page status displayed station was off-line, when i looked i found it was. checking the realtimegauges.json file on the website i noticed that it was 0 bytes. Restarted my pi it fired up ok, however after hitting the internet tab on Cumulus MX...

I had tried different centext but just could not get it to work, so just copied and pasted the whole line that you sent and it all worked.

Thank you Mark for your feedback. I have updated the remote file path thus /public_html/CumulusMX/realtimegauges.json and can be seen within the website. Updated the gauge file to reflect the path as a string "/public_html/CumulusMX/realtimegauges.json" However as you can still see I have a problems...

Just for the record I use http://www.freevirtualservers.com/lite-web-hosting Could you confirm this was your intention? By using the xx.jpg extension I can now see the file in the same website area as the gauges.htm file. I have attached a screen dump of the file path of my updated remote file path....

As you can see I still have not been able to get this working, If a file called realtimeguages.txt should be in the same file area of my website as gauges.htm it is not anywhere to be seen.
