Re: YAWCAM FTP Weather Underground error
I seem to have Yawcam working now, I downgraded to an earlier version and that seems to have sorted the issues.

Re: US version of a Davis VP2 in the UK?
I've been searching around and found that weathershop.co.uk do a cabled VP2, with weatherlink and datalogger and the envoy for 581.75, and the console version for 586.08 Very good prices than other retailers, and I have ordered from there before, so when it comes to buying a VP2 I will most likley b...

Re: US version of a Davis VP2 in the UK?
I thought about buying a wired Davis Vantage Pro 2 (basic model) and a datalogger to connect to the PC, seen as my current station location is around 15ft from my bedroom window. Do you reckon they will be bothered at HMRC if it was a wired station? would there be any issues with that idea? Many Tha...

US version of a Davis VP2 in the UK?
Hi, I've been looking at the VP2 stations, and noticed that US versions bought in the US are considerably cheaper to UK versions, on ebay anyway... Are there any restrictions except different plugs that would prevent a US VP2 been used in the UK? I understand there is a metric conversion for the rai...

Re: Davis Vantage Pro 2 options
Thanks for the info guys! A company called Prodata Weather Systems does a special offer bundle with the Wireless Vantage Pro 2 station (with the console I presume), Weatherlink data logger and software for £695 (Free shipping and VAT), do you reckon that is a good deal? or could I get them cheaper e...

Davis Vantage Pro 2 options
Hi, Ive been looking at Davis weather stations, more specifically the Davis VP2. I notice that it comes with a whole range of accessories and options, like solar sensors, wireless temperature sensors, soil moisture sensors etc... Ive been pricing up what I could eventually get when I upgrade my PWS....

Re: What would you recommend?
I think the problem is that to see a significant improvement beyond a Fine Offset, you have to spend quite a bit more and go to a Davis Vantage Vue (approx £450 including logger and PC connection). From what I've seen, I could never recommend that anyone buy a La Crosse station, which would fit you...

What would you recommend?
Hi, I've been thinking of what weather station I could get that can be used to replace my Watson W8681 when it eventually dies or before hopefully. It needs to have: -Wireless connection to base station -Wind vane -Anemometer -Rain gauge -Thermo-hydro sensor (temp, humidity, pressure, dewpoint, wind...
