Re: Web page scrambled

Unfortunately there are still many things wrong. I think beteljuice is correct with his statement about dodgy code. It worked perfectly for many years then suddenly the problem appeared on my PC but my laptop was still ok. Then I had a new OS installed on the laptop and it too then presented the pro...

Re: Web page scrambled

That is very interesting. I have not done anything in the way of fixing yet.
Would it be at all possible to for you to post a screenshot of that web page from your system? It would be very much appreciated.

Re: Web page scrambled

A couple of things. The very large font size is intentional as the web page was designed for use on my laptop and be able to be read from across the room. Dodgy javascript.. quite possible as I am not a programmer and have little knowledge. But, the thing is that that page has operated perfectly for...

Web page scrambled

Hi, I created my web page something like 8 years ago and have had it working well until recently. Suddenly the page has become somewhat disjointed, data seems ok it's just the presentation that has gone off. I can't find any difference in the file that is being uploaded. I am hoping that somebody ha...

Weather Station features

Hi,
Is anybody aware of any weather station that features both cumulus compatibility (via usb) and wifi direct to router/internet. I have a need for such and have searched high and low but to no avail. Any knowledge would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Alan

Re: High/Low daily temperature range

Thank you for your response. In my original post I used the term 'yearly' because that is what is used in web tags list in wiki. But in reality of course I am referring to 'this year' as indeed is the wiki list. So, I will try again and attempt to be more communicative. In essence, all that I am see...

High/Low daily temperature range

Hello, On my web page I have successfully exhibited the end point values of the current day's temperature range (example, 10.3°C to 12.8°C). That was easy enough to do by simply returning the min and max temps of the current day. However, I would like to be able to do the same with both the yearly a...

Month rainfall tally

Hi, The following incident occurred over a 3 day period and has me intrigued but not concerned. I hope somebody will be able to explain it. July 9, first rain for the month 2.0mm, monthly tally also reported 2.0mm --- all's well. July 10, further rain fall of 0.3mm, monthly tally 2.4mm --- not so we...

Re: MinutesSinceLastRainTip

Hello Mark, Your code works beautifully. Between when Steve supplied his code and when you supplied your more elegant version I had managed to modify Steve's code to return only that which has value (ie if only minutes value then only minutes displayed and of course if only minutes and hours value t...

Re: MinutesSinceLastRainTip

Steve, even with my limited knowledge I can understand what you mean by it getting messy (because I have given this point consideration). What I find thoroughly encouraging is the involvement of various members on this topic.

Re: MinutesSinceLastRainTip

Dan, thank you very much for your suggestion. However, as I mentioned in my original post, I know next to nothing about jvascript and must add that I know absolutely nothing about PHP, I have never used it. So would you be so kind so as to show me exactly where your supplied code would be embedded i...

MinutesSinceLastRainTip

Hi to all, I am hoping that somebody with javascript experience can help me out with this one as my knowledge is next to zero. In the latest Cumulus version (1.9.4) Steve made available a tag to return the number of minutes since the last rain tip (<#MinutesSinceLastRainTip>). This for me is really ...

Freezing the codes results

Hi, On my web page at the end of one of the data rows I insert a small orange square when the temperature activates the Cumulus 'Alarm if temperature rises above xxx°C' and or a red square if the temperature rises above 37.7°C. These two conditions are only possible if the web page / Cumulus is in t...

Re: Conditional Formatting

Great, thank you very much. Picked up the gist and applied small mods and additions so as to comply with my required temperature range and switching points. Works beautifully!!
Thanks and cheers!!
