It is not possible to remove < and > from the settings. &, < and > are the least that will be replaced by entities since they are HTML special characters. I tried to tick "Don't encode special characters in attribute values", but it did not help.

Yes, I replaced all the < and > with < and > in the HTML window in KompoZer and saved. KompoZer replaced them back to < and >. I had to fix it in Notepad. Except for this problem, I found KompoZer very easy to use. I use the latest version 0.8b3 from march 1st 2010.

I tried KompoZer to edit the Cumulus webpages, but it replaced the brackets around the Cumulus tags with < and > Sombody who knows how to avoid that?

When I was programming Fortran 30 years ago, I was using a text editor like Notepad. That seems to still be the best tool. But I will try your proposals for wysiwig editors.

Can sombody recomend a web design and development tool which is sutable for designing weather pages based on Cumulus? It shoud handle javascripting for making pages based on realtime.txt. Preferable free software.

Thank you, here was a lot of good ideas. I probably have to use a mobile Internet solution where I pay pr. Kbyte, so it is important to keep the uploads small. To base the solution on the realtime.txt file seems to be the best solution. Where do I find documentation of realtime.txt?
