Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

Paul - Success. Here was basically the problem. In the configuration for uploading the CUtags.txt so that it could get processed and uploaded on the server at CUtags.php it wanted the path to the server spelled out. (I thought that I had tried this one before and it did not work). So, in the Interne...

Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

Here's something meant to ask earlier - when you follow the instructions regarding saving the "CUtags.txt" file and put it in the "webfiles" or "web", whichever one your using; I noticed that there's a CUtags.php file sitting in there. I assume that got created in there...

Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

The FTP path for uploading my Cumulus files is /public_html/weather. I am beginning to suspect that the CUtags.php file on the server is not being overwritten. I even made sure the appropriate attributes were on the directory and the file in question. Changing the protocol of "renaming" or...

Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

Paul - thanks for hanging in there with me on this one. I did do exactly as the README states and the CUtags.php is still not showing updated data and I am sure of the path on the server. This afternoon, I cleared all the files within the C:/cumulus/webfiles directory, went thru the procedure regard...

Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

This is what I run and it's showing "old" data in the CUtags.php file on the server - http://wxstation.us/weather/CUtags.php?sce=dump
Reference CUtags.txt - no it does not have the same appearance as genCUtags.php

Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

I am a newbie when it comes to trying to figure this out as I have had CU and the website up and running since the latter part of 2016. I am running in realtime is why the CUtags.txt to CUtags.php. Somewhere along the line I am not sure I had the trends page working correctly from the 1st day I inst...

Re: Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

The CUtags.txt is being uploaded, but not with data - at least that's what it looks like to me. Is the conversion to CUtags.php after CUtags.txt is uploaded to the server? While I was at it I made sure that CUtags.txt was being uploaded from the Cumulus/webfiles directory. There must be something el...

Weather Trends (wxtrends.php)

I need a clue as to what file to take a closer look at to fix the wxtrends.php and also get the index.php to reflect yesterdays high temperature correctly.

Re: cwop altimeter bogus reading

Hello Steve - Is this same algorithm for determining altimiter adjustment to CWOP the same for the Oregon Scientific? Reason I am asking is that I have been watching my CWOP readings for two days and something just doesn't appear correct. I am just about three miles from the NOAA weather station her...

Re: CWOP data

Some times I am just a tad bit slow, but after taking a closer look at what I thought was a problem, the solution became very evident. CWOP perimeters for latitude and longitude have to be entered LORAN and then they're converted by CWOP and appear as they should. I was not using the LORAN data.

Re: CWOP data

No experimentation Steve. The only thing I had listed incorrectly was I had the latitude and longitude turned around, but it still remains that when my data string is uploaded to CWOP, the location coordinates of my site are not what is entered in my Cumulus configuration.

CWOP data

For some reason my CWOP latitude and longitude is not registering correctly during the CWOP upload. I was using the latest Beta copy. The coordinates for my station are: longitude 39.01.57 N and latitude 95.42.54 W - with that data entered in the configuration of Cumulus it changes the last two digi...

Got an opportunity to enable the latest Beta and my "OS Cold Climate" sensor is showing as an extra temp sensor.

Re: Oregon Scientific (Quirk)

This option is works well and definitely enhances the use for those of us that have the OS stations.

Re: Oregon Scientific (Quirk)

Steve - I have examined some APRS/CWOP reporting stations data and we do have some not reporting humidity, so I don't believe that would be out of line to have that option that could be selected when this particular Oregon Scientific temperature condition occurs. I know that turning off the humidity...
