Re: CumulusMX - Display of the values from the Ecowitt WH41

Yes. Because it means an AQI value is being put into a PM count field.

Re: February 2024 errors with NOAA and rainfall generation

The report is generated from data in the dayfile.

If you have regenerated the report and still have the problem; how did you edit the dayfile? Using the built-in editor, or manually?

Re: WMR200 station not found!

Switch on debug logging, restart MX and post the latest MXdiags file.

There have been no material changes to the WMR200 code for a long time.

Re: CumulusMX - Display of the values from the Ecowitt WH41

I've realised why I commented out the 24 average. Ecowitt are sending a unitless AQI value (despite the JSON implying it is a PM count value by saying the units are µg/m³, just another error in Ecowitt's APIs). MX does not use AQI values from the station, it uses PM counts and converts it to the whi...

Re: PHP Upload errors

You could create a simple file called say info.php and set the contents to...

Code: Select all

<?php
phpinfo();
Upload the file to your server and open it from your web server using a browser. It will tell you if support is enabled or not.

Re: PHP Upload errors

It looks like your PHP install has not included zlib support?

Code: Select all

 Call to undefined function gzdecode()
Is it a very old version of PHP? I think pre version 6 it was an optional component.

Re: CumulusUtils UserReports <webtags> for Ecowitt GW2000/GW1000

Paul, the hours increment every minute, but by default the web tag displays to one decimal place of an hour, which of course is 6 minutes. You can increase the decimals to two in the tag if you want to see 1-minute increments.

Re: CumulusUtils UserReports <webtags> for Ecowitt GW2000/GW1000

The tag works, you can see it on my web site home page as the field "Sun shining?" And the background of the recent graph at the bottom of the page which is yellow where the sun was shining. Only 0.03 hours sunshine today, so you have to look for it on the graph! https://weather.wilmslowas...

Re: CumulusUtils UserReports <webtags> for Ecowitt GW2000/GW1000

Current solar is 39 and theoretical is 124, so is 31% of theoretical. Nowhere near your threshold of 75%, so #IsSunny is correctly false/0.

Re: CumulusUtils UserReports <webtags> for Ecowitt GW2000/GW1000

I think you're right Paul the hours updates once a minute when live running, but I think IsSunny updates with each reading received, which is also around 1 minute for most stations iirc. (On my phone atm)

Re: CumulusUtils UserReports <webtags> for Ecowitt GW2000/GW1000

It only updates at the same rate as the sunshine hours, every time a solar value is received from the station - so around a minute for most stations.

Re: CumulusMX - Display of the values from the Ecowitt WH41

I cannot see a reason why I disabled the average!

I have enabled it on a test version and dug out a WH41 and the average value is working fine.

It will be in fixed in the next release.

Yes, but was the sun out when you checked the web tag?
