Re: rpi-CumulusMX-lite-3.28.0_X64

Slightly confusing, you have two log files in there the first from the 5th Feb, that looks like a clean start with no Cumus.ini, and you set the station type. Is that an old log left in error? The other log does not see the /data files from your previous install, so is effectively starting again. Yo...

Re: New Record? Post here.

Just doing a drip calibration. Because the spoon adjuster is non-linear (it uses magnetic attraction), it is bit more iterative than with the see-saw tipper, but it's the same process. Mine arrived reading approximately 30% high! - viewtopic.php?p=176923#p176923

Re: Rain counter increase ignored.

It's a bug, but it should accept the new value after it sees it three times. I'll get a new build out to fix this ASAP.

Re: rpi-CumulusMX-lite-3.28.0_X64

The rPi uses NTP, and unless you add one does not have a hardware real-time clock (RTC) to keep the time when you reboot/power off. It will restart with the last time it had when it shut down until it can connect to an NTP server. CMX takes its time from the rPi. So you should not restart CMX straig...

You probably need to clear the browser cache for the CMX site - or Ctrl-F5

Re: rpi-CumulusMX-lite-3.28.0_X64

It's a bit confusing as to what you have done and where you are up to. But you need to copy the entire /data and the Cumulus.ini file from the old install to the new install. Be careful of any resulting permissions issues - make sure the account MX is going to run under has write access to all the f...

Re: New Record? Post here.

That's some rain! And good to see some positive data on the spoon tipper. I have switched to one and found the out-of-the-box calibration was very poor. But since tweaking it I've been happy with it.

Re: realtime.txt fails in raspberry Pi image

As Paul said the paths "realtime.txt" and "interface/realtime.txt" should work, but full paths are ok.

Re: realtime.txt fails in raspberry Pi image

You really should not make the Cumulus MX interface available to the internet, it is not secure enough.

Re: realtime.txt fails in raspberry Pi image

If you just want to access it locally, then you could create the file as you are now. Then set up Extra Web Files to copy it to the /interface folder. (Below is untested and from memory, I'm on my phone at the moment) Local file name = web/realtime.txt Remote file name = interface/realtime.txt Real-...

Re: Websocket Pending Problem

I run a couple of Cumulus installs on raspberry pi's and have never seen this problem in all the years I've been running them. That doesn't help you, but this is also the first report of this particular problem I have seen, which makes me inclined to think it is something in your environment causing...

Re: Mean temp

The means would be doable, the deviations depend on the user setting the means in the NOAA setting, not everybody will do that so the tag values could be misleading.
