Re: FTP issue on RPI

CumulusMX is trying to connect to an IPv6 address, is that expected?

If you need to connect to an IPv4 address, then you could try disabling IPv6 in debian, or enter the IP address into the config rather than a hostname.

Re: Cumulus MX Announcements and Download - PLEASE READ FIRST

Version 3.0.2 - build 3052 is now available for download. Implements a fix Davis VP2 stations downloading archive data when running on slow processors, and a day rollover is processed. If the day rollover processing takes longer than 10 seconds then the console stops sending any more data. Fixes Dav...

Re: FineWeather fixing rel pressure and USB lockups with RPi

OK, thanks. I understand what you are doing, however... That would be a breaking change for many people, so what I propose is to implement the EWpressureoffset cumulus.ini file setting from Cumulus1 If that is set it will override the calculated offset. It does mean that for FO stations there are tw...

I did put a couple of checks in b3051 - glad they are working OK for you.

Version 3.0.1 - build 3051 is now available for download. Primarily this adds some love for serial port and USB attached Davis VP2 stations. Increases Davis DMPAFT Date/Time command timeout Much improved Davis serial port throughput (for USB and Serial loggers), should decrease the historic logger d...

Re: Ecowitt GW-1000 and Cumulus MX

Being in the process of adding a new station I understand why Steve said he would not add another one to Cumulus without having a fully documented API *and* loan hardware to test against.

Re: CumulusMX data fluctuating between station and program

Hi George, switch on Debug and Data logging in the CMX Station Settings | Options Wait for the problem to occur again, then post the MXdiags file here. I suspect that CMX is just reporting what the station is sending though. Did you do a full power down reset when changing the batteries? (Batteries ...

Re: My station's tweets to Twitter have stopped completely

I'd use a third party app for sending tweets from Cumulus (like twurl maybe), twitter is broken and cannot be fixed in Cumulus 1.

It's broken in MX too, but may be fixed there at some point.

Re: New installation on Pi3B + with Buster and Mono 6.0 does not work

I am aware of these issues with Mono 6.0. Unfortunately I am away from home and I am having problems with my VPN access back to my development systems. So it is going to be later this week before I can start investigating.

I don't know if you solved this, but it looks like corrupt files in your /interface folder to me.

Re: Cumulus log file format on Raspberry Pi

I pretty sure that CumulusMX (or .Net routines) itself doesn't care, you can run it on Windows with data files created on Linux.

Stranger Things?

I installed Buster from here (Raspbian Buster with desktop and recommended software).
Only difference is I always use the headless lite version. But you'd think a distro is a distro and should be using the same repository sources :groan:

Re: Missing data on dashboard

For another purpose (testing some hardware) I installed a brand new fresh download of Raspbian Buster from the official site (dated last month), installed mono-complete, and it installed version 5.18 for me?

Re: Missing data on dashboard

Assuming you are using Raspbian/Debian, then though this post is for wheezy not stretch, the principal is the same...
