Re: MX build 3044 - twitter uploads

Ah, yes. I added URL encoding to b3044 because MX itself sends the text as a URL and some people had issues with extended characters causing messages to not be sent. Sorry I couldn't test this as I fall into the large group of people who cannot use the MX twitter feature anymore :( If you need the T...

Version 2.7.3 was available on 1st November 2018. The only change is an update to the Cumulus URL

Re: Cumulus MX Announcements and Download - PLEASE READ FIRST

A toe in the water! This is a test of my build process and understanding of parts of the code as much as anything. Full credit to Steve for making his source code available. I will be making the updated source available - probably on Githhub - when I've worked out some details. I've uploaded b...

Re: New Cumulus Home

Until you log in you are an anonymous user so the forum doesn't know which messages you have read and which you haven't. Once logged in it does know, and maybe trying to fetch some enormous list of unread from the DB?

Re: New Cumulus Home

Good tip - maybe other people with the "slow" problem could click "Mark all read" from the "unread" list, or "Mark forums read" from the main index.

Fair enough, but one last question as I'd like to understand the problem... Had mono been updated since you last started MX?

Re: CumulusMX MySQL DB

Ah, so you will have to use your host name rather than localhost. Same as FTP.
You may find that you also have to add your home IP to the allowed remote access list on the DB.

Re: CumulusMX MySQL DB

Localhost will resolve to 127.0.0.1 so that is nothing to worry about.

Is CMX actually running on the same server as the database?

Re: CumulusMX not connecting to WH1080, help needed

I'd have a look at your Cumulus.ini file, it may be corrupt. Save it and try using one from a recent backup in the backup folder.

Re: CumulusMX MySQL DB

Yes, that should work - you will need to run each pf the "create tables" buttons after saving the new table names. What I would do though (if you want to preserve your Cumulus 1 data into MX) is to "copy" your existing tables including the data to the new table names. Then all you need to do is amen...

Re: Change Log Interval

The recent graphs should data cached by Cumulus at 1 minute intervals regardless of the logging interval. This data is just held in memory, so if you restart Cumulus it can only display data from the log file up to the point it restarts.

Re: Pressure Gauge issue?

The red sectors show values outside your all-time hi/lo pressure records. So yes, your station needs to run a wile to 'push' them back.

Ah! Terry I was wrong! :bash:

a value of 1 in the ini file does mean 5 minutes!

Re: Change Log Interval

Don't know what to suggest Terry, I've not seen a problem like this before. But changing Cumulus.ini to 5 - with Cumulus stopped - should be correct.
