    Re: Davis VP2 Relay Device

I'm not sure, people have used the base library with other radio modules with slight tweaks to the code. You may find some more information if you search the WX forum.

Re: FTP Errors and WOW setup

Terry, those are FTP errors, the WOW upload is just a HTTP request.

It looks like a rename of a file on your web server is failing. I'd start by looking for a zero length file in your hosts web folder.

I had another look at the sun gauge code...

The Orange section starts at current calculated max value, and ends 10% above that.

New feature - Davis WLL historic data catch-up

Build 3064 - version 3.4.0 of Cumulus MX now allows users to Davis WeatherLink Live devices to download catch-up data for periods when Cumulus is not running. It does this by fetching the missing data from WeatherLink.com. There are a few caveats around this though... You must have at least a Pro su...

Re: Cumulus MX Announcements and Download - PLEASE READ FIRST

Version 3.4.0 - Build 3064 is now available for download. The big change for this release is adding historic data "catch-up" for Davis WeatherLink Live devices. This works by downloading the missing historic data from WeatherLink.com. I'll post a separate message on what is involved in implementing ...

    Re: Sun- and cloud gauge

It just shades an area above the current calculated maximum value for irradiation, it indicates when you sensor is "over-reading" which it may well do if there are clouds around.

So maybe a fresh re-install of 3063 might help?
    Possibly, but I'm sceptical.

Re: Migrating from PC to MacBook Air

You just need the CumulusMXDist zip file - CumulusMX.exe is the executable for all platforms. On the Mac you will need to install Mono to run Cumulus (https://www.mono-project.com/docs/getting-started/install/mac/) Then the command line to run Cumulus is... > sudo mono CumulusMX.exe And that is all ...

Re: Cumulux MX on Windows data errors at start up

I need a copy of your data files before you start Cumulus, and the log after you start it. Before you start Cumulus though make sure that the debug and data logging is enabled - edit Cumulus.ini and set (or add if they do not exist) the following two lines in the [station] section... Logging=1 DataL...

Re: Including Data from external website

You cannot do that with Cumulus, you would have to do the integration within your web site code.

    Re: FTP Now

    Hi David,

No currently it does not process any files, It just invokes an FTP cycle for quick checking the FTP process.

Easy enough to change it so that it does a full file processing and FTP though. It would make it more useful, I'll put that in the next release as it's a one liner.

Re: Cumulux MX on Windows data errors at start up

Do you have any rain multipliers set?

I cannot see it is doing anything wrong a a first glance though.

I think what I will need is one of the backups that puts your data in a state when you started one of the runs and got the issue.

Re: Weather station website not updating

I have recently changed my website host and what I didn't realise was I needed to "unlock" the FTB manually in the sites control panel - and it can be left unlocked for up to 28 days. It is now reading "FTP is currently unlocked and will be automatically locked in 27 days, 23 hours, 48 minutes." Lo...
