Thanks Steve Ive copied the data across to the dayfile.txt file as suggested I use AVG, but have been doing so for quite some time without any problems The only thing that I can think of is Windows Automatic Updates. Aren't they done every Wednesday (last wed being the 1st) and the problem started W...

My Dayfile.txt file hasn't updated since 1st June
The June11 log file is ok
Still using Windows XP

You realise that once you start ....... we will all want more (PHP, CSS, HTML etc) ;)

AVG the free version (I am from Scottish stock ...sorry!!!)

Ive just uninstalled AVG, closed Cumulus and Toolbox then rebooted system
Restarted Cumulus and the Toolbox
The error is still there

I'll wait to reinstall AVG

PC (running Cumulus & Toolbox) connected by Cat5 cable to D-Link 524 Router
The router is connected by Cat5 to Cable modem
The router also connects to another PC, Ive checked that this PC has the "No proxy" box ticked
