I've been using three consoles in different rooms for the last couple of years. I bought the second and third systems mainly for spare sensors, thinking the plastic didnt look as if it would last too long (haven't needed them yet though after running the original set for three years). My oldest one ...

Thanks for that. Now upgraded and all displaying correctly. I'll have to check back and upgrade more often. I blame the reliability of the software!

Upgrading versions

Hi Steve, I know its frowned upon to use old versions, but I've been happily using 1.8.9 for 2 and a bit years. I need to upgrade to latest, but will it still read my old data ok? I'm using XP and a W1080.

Don't forget that the cloud base facility in Cumulus is just a novelty feature... As long as people know that this cloud base calculation is only valid for convective situations, it can be really useful. Personally, i've always used the 'temp (degC) minus dewpoint (degC), then times 400' - gives yo...
