Re: Problems with station communication
Without checking other unit that have stopped working I could not say if the problem is software or hardware related. My unit has stopped working many times. Until last year most of the tricks to getting it going worked, unplug it, resetting and even letting it just sit for a few days(unplugged) and...

Re: issues with easyweather 6.2
What I find unbelievable no one has helped this guy yet this thread has made it to 2 pages. Someone could have pointed out that he only needs, yes you still need, easy weather to setup a station. After that he could try using Cumulus as it does what easy weather does and more. He mostly likely does ...

Re: Temperature data spikes revisited
If I had any errors that where as bad as yours I would try testing the Tx myself. Could it be the coil on the the reed relay, EMF feed back, relay bounce. The reed relays feed back through resistors of different values, high and low. You provided this info. Are the errors when the wind is in a certa...

Re: Temperature data spikes revisited
Voltage regulation seems to be the problem to me with these units, atleast for some problems/differences.
A higher voltage input, maybe 4.5/5v, regulated down to 3 volts might work.
I have not done it, but maybe monitoring the battery voltage will help show
what is going on when the spikes happen.

Re: Relative Humidity almost always 99%
If your problem is the same as mine replacing the consule will not help you.
Try unplugging the anemometer for a little while and see if the RH goes to something
more reasonable.
If that works for you then I wish I could offer you more help but I still have the problem
myself.

Re: Extending radio range
My unit which is about 2 years old uses the Holtek 82M99 chip for USB and that chip is USB 1.1.
20 ft would be taken it to its limits. If you go that route use a good quality cable.

Re: Sudden drop in pressure values - help needed
IF you look at the pics for the fine offsets https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2685/ or here https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=640 you`ll see that the pressure sensor is in the consul not the transmitter. When the consul is attached to the USB port the consu...

Re: Interference Receiver/Detector with direction finding
Gina, I was so concentrating on temperature being your problem, and temp was not really a problem for me, I was over looking that I do have a very similar problem with spikes. My outside humidity sensor does not work when I hook up the wind direction indicator, but on occasion it does kick in and gi...

If I can add to Gina`s work, Showing the differences in the tranmitter and adding the consule which is the NC265.

Outside humidity stuck at 99%
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on my problem. The unit has been like this since I got it so no warranty any more, but yesterday I decide to see if I could correct it. What I found was if I unplugged the Wind direction indicator it would read the correct humidity. Later I found that it only ...

Re: comulus is "sleeping"-graph is flat
Steve the 11.rar is the directory of the realtime txt files my bat file(dos) grabs every minute. The 3 flat graphs I noticed are at, 5:53,6:30 and 7:20. If you open the txt file just before these times you`ll see everything running fine, note the time, then at these time and for the next several min...

Re: comulus is "sleeping"-graph is flat
I had 3 flatlines happen this morning. No errors where reported. I am running a bat file that grabs the realtime.txt file every minute and stores it under its date and time. What I have noticed looking back through the files is when everything is working correctly files are time stamped with the hou...

Mark did you see the third party software section, Daj has Tool Box software there with lots of features and is setup for Cumulus.

Re: Is there history software out there, beyond high lows.
Thats exactly what I was trying to do. Although I know what PHP is, sort off, and SQL data base is, using them is another thing, so thanks for the offer but I guess I better stay with what I know even if it is limited. I was grabbing the realtime files every minute which maybe over kill, and occasio...

Re: Is there history software out there, beyond high lows.
Thanks Daj that was what I was talking about, just visited your site, very nice. I am far from 17 months worth of data, and in testing I have messed up most of what I already have and at some point I`ll have to erase all data to date and start from scratch. Daj is the software you have for collectin...
