Re: Windows-11 Compatability
CumulusMX.exe now starts and seems to be running correctly in Windows-8 compatability mode. That is all that Windows-11 will tell me about the settings. Prior to compatability being set, there is nodiags file because literally, nothing happened when I tried to start Cumulus. For what it's worth, her...

Re: Windows-11 Compatability
I've been launching Cumulus from a shortcut in the startup folder, as I always have in the past and when it would not start, there was no error at all, no command window, or messages. Thanks Mark, for giving me the clue that led me to resolve this. I had managed to miss the manual compatability sett...

Re: Windows-11 Compatability
Sorry Freddie, no diag file is available, because MX 3263 literally won't start at all. As a result, it's not going to give me any information at all. I don't believe this is a Cumulus issue. I believe it's something that's happened as a result of Windoze-11 updates and as most of us know, they can'...

Windows-11 Compatability
Hi all. Has anyone else had compatability issues with running Cumulus MX on Windows-11? Since build 3145, up to build 3257 I've been running the Windows compatability troubleshooter and that has sorted things out for MX to run happily. This morning I downloaded build 3263 and I find that Micro$oft h...

Re: WS-2357
Hi jonathangaillard, This post might be of interest to you: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7223 I have used a ws-2355 on a serial port since 2009 with almost no trouble from the station. I also have a ws-2306 in an unattended remote location, using an FTDI usb/serial adapter ...

Good find Gluepack, even better that it needs very little config.

Re: Running Cumulus reliably
Hi Mik, I've been running Cumulus v1.4(1099) on an Acer Aspire laptop for just over 2 years, unattended for most of the time and the only times it has been rebooted have been due to Windows-7 and using Media Center to watch tv. Cumulus never has any issues, nor does it get in the way of the other us...

Re: Highcharts WindDir Problem
Hi Mark, Something still not right... All ok in IE but still having a problem with the y axis Direction scale when using Firefox on pc, and Firefox or Chrome on Samsung Android device. Highcharts WindDir Problem
I'm having trouble with the WindDir graph not initially fitting within the graph area and the direction scales seem to compress and fold over once the data is loaded. It partially corrects itself when any of the scale buttons are clicked. Everything else seems to work as expected. Has anyone else ha...

Re: Displaying THSW data in cumulus
Mark, I think there's enough information here: http://www.bom.gov.au/info/thermal_stress/index.shtml to be able to calculate a THSW index in PHP or Javascript. It's quite similar to the method used to calculate "apparent temp". edit: This PHP function might work (I haven't tested it as I c...

Bug Report Cumulus v1.9.4 b1098
Steve, I did a remote login to my weather server and was greeted by a Cumulus message stating that Cumulus had a problem and a bug report had been generated. I re-started Cumulus and all seems ok. About 8 hours prior to this event, Windows had installed about 10 updates, otherwise noknown changes to...
