Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
Thanks for your pointers. Glad to say that (touch wood), all is back up and running. Just need to sort out a few tweaks that are cosmetic, but functionality is restored! Phew!!!

Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
BRILLIANT! Thank you! That has made it come alive again, which gives me hope. But can I restore my customisations by importing the old html pages into the setup, or do I have to customise from scratch? Heck this is tricky!

Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
So.........I have temporarily disabled my old setup, and performed a completely new install. (For now, I am just completely disregarding the web site). What I have found is that when I run it on localhost, my previous customised gauges and charts are displayed, rather than what I would expect from a...

Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
Thanks for looking at those for me. I have been doing some tinkering, but not sure whether I am making things worse. I can see those two files now, but not sure why MX can't - unless I have added them since running the debugging thingy.

Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
Actually, on closer inspection, the gauges are NOT working on the website, either - but the graphs are getting uploaded ok.........

Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
I think I am overlooking something obvious, but as I am not expert in these things, I haven't a clue what it might be. The realtime gauges are working on my website , but are completely dead when I try to look at 'em on localhost, as I stated before. see: http://www.new.avochweather.info/gauges.htm

Re: Heeeeeeeelp, please!
Cumulus is running, and updating the data files. But I get that error message when I try to look at real time data. So the dashboard, Now, and gauges pages are "dead", but he interface and charts pages show the data is being recorded.

Heeeeeeeelp, please!
Hi peeps, I am not particularly computer savvy, but have been running Cumulus for several years, during which time it trundled along happily. Unfortunately, I recently had some sort of episode which killed Cumulus. I installed the latest version and, according to the DOS style window, Cumulus is run...

Re: Lack of updates
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you well! Cumulus has been a great success - evident from the number of users worldwide - and I for one would like to thank you for all your hard work in producing it and helping me out when things got the better of me.

Re: Help - Windows 10 has murdered Cumulus.
It turned out Windows had mucked up my firewall settings, but I only discovered that through trial and error - and a big dose of luck. I initially thought that maybe the update had corrupted Cumulus, but even a complete reinstall didn't work - now I know why! Really annoying, as I am not terribly te...

Re: Help - Windows 10 has murdered Cumulus.
I think it is all working again now. Quite why a Windows update should have screwed with the Firewall settings is beyond me, but I am pleased I have Cumulus up and running again. A big thank you to all who advised and Steve - a wee donation is coming through the ether in your direction.

Re: Help - Windows 10 has murdered Cumulus.
It seems to be working ok now at my end. Maybe I should just quit now, while I am ahead? Could you confirm the website works ok with you (disregard the gauges-ss.htm and just go with the old one?)

Re: Help - Windows 10 has murdered Cumulus.
yeah...it's mystery to me. The web pages update, but not the realtime data. I don't recall changing any settings for that.

Re: Help - Windows 10 has murdered Cumulus.
Really not sure what has happened. The gauges stopped updating (not sure why) and now I think I have messed things up further trying to upgrade to the latest version of steel series gauges. I seem to have two gauge pages (gauges.htm and gauges-ss.htm), both of which seem to be dead!
