Okay all the edits done and the result was that I now get a normal status on start up.
The site appears to have caught up on all the data.
I am impressed with the support I am receiving, even with the major time difference it is extremely good and prompt.

I have noticed in today.ini the following first entry

Growing degree days data is all at default including 7 for southern hemisphere
