Re: copying data to the wrong file
I have no idea, do they need to be copied? They were checked in the previous installation. I can just uncheck the copy moon image file. I can uncheck the NOAA files local copy as well and the errors will go away. I did restore the MoonBaseImage.png file from the Cumulus distribution zip file. So I g...

Re: copying data to the wrong file
I'm trying to stop these errors. I simply copied my C:\CumulusMx from my old computer to my new one, that's when I started getting the errors. I just wanted some help to get it fixed correctly. What should my local copy option be set to? Since my NOAA reports are stored in my C:\Cumulusmx\Reports.I ...

Re: copying data to the wrong file

Re: copying data to the wrong file
I am only using windows defender, but I excluded the cumulus folder and it didnt help. I did change 'C:\cumulusmx\web\moon.png to 'C:\cumulusmx\web\MoonBaseImage.png and it stopped the error, the other error stopped when I rebooted the computer.

copying data to the wrong file
Hi Finally got some time to upgrade my software and move my station to a new computer, I am still using Cumulus MX build 3282. I wanted to get everything running on my new computer before upgrading to MX V4. Every thing seemed to be running fine until I noticed it hadn't updated since yesterday even...

Re: Missing Day in Dayfile
Actually, it was Google Sheets, since my regular computer was taken out with the lightning strike and it had Excel. I plan to update MX v4 soon. I keep getting more experience with Cumulus and it might go better.

Re: Missing Day in Dayfile
Hi I have been pretty busy but what I did was convert the WLK file to cmx data. That worked and I got my data into my Aug24 log file. But when I tried the createMissing file I got the error, date is out of order on two different lines. I opened the day file in Excel and thought I got everything corr...

Re: Missing Day in Dayfile
Good morning. I've attached the last \CumulusMX\MXdiags files. The vantage vue has a serial data logger like this. https://www.davisinstruments.com/products/weatherlink-windows-usb. I have a Weatherlink Console, the new 6313 color console. I see you have found my stations on WL. I know this sounds f...

Re: Missing Day in Dayfile
I believe I need to provide more information. When I followed your suggestion, Cumulus started up and attempted to download data, but no historical data was found. Consequently, I used my backup to restore MX to its previous state. Both consoles upload data to Davis WeatherLink (WL), and the older V...

Re: Missing Day in Dayfile
I have two consoles, one a Weatherlink, and the other a vantage vue, it has a data logger. They are both connected to a vantage pro 2. How would I back-date my data from a good backup? Thanks

Missing Day in Dayfile
Hi Still running ver.3.28.5 build 3282. On August 29th, I had a lightning strike and was out of power and wifi for 1 day. By the time I got everything running again, I was missing one day in my dayfile. Can I just add a line back in and will I need to change my August 24 log. I need to add this day ...
