Re: last nights data flat-lined this morning?

I thought that was for a different weather station that's why I turned it off. luckily I only turned it off a day or so ago so no real harm done.

Thanks for pointing out my stupid mistake. Boy, do I feel dumb.

Re: last nights data flat-lined this morning?

Oh! I forgot to say thanks for that idea about my other files being in the wrong place. I had installed Cumulus in programs folder and the stupid windows system put the data in some other place. Found them and reinstated most of my data.

Thanks again for that idea.

Re: last nights data flat-lined this morning?

I don't know what the H E double hockey sticks happened there. They looked fine before I zipped them. Maybe I sent a previously zipped set with out looking at the content. I will try that again.

Thanks again.

last nights data flat-lined this morning?

I turned on my PC this morning and Cumulus did not show the moving bar that I usually get. It showed the downloading window but the bar did not move. When I went to look at the data in graphs it was all flat-lined from when I switched off last night. I have recently updated from an older version and...

Re: Updated to 1.9, alltime.rec has not copied how to fix?

Thanks for your reply.

So, if I remove alltime.ini and restart should it then use alltime.rec and rewrite alltime.ini?

Thanks

Firstly: Hello and welcome to the forum! Secondly: Probably all the information you seek is on this forum somewhere and Yes the surroundings and even the pole it is sited on will alter your readings to some extent. The best possible position for the wind speed / direction sensor is above any surroun...

Updated to 1.9, alltime.rec has not copied how to fix?

I just installed and creating a new folder(c:/Cumulus) I previously had it in windows programs by mistake. But for some reason the all time records haven't translated. I tried reinstalling 1.9 on top with a copy of my old alltime.rec etc. in the data folder but that didn't work. What should I do to ...

Frost, thawing, rain gauge problem?

Hi, I have a problem with frost in my rain gauge. When it thaws it causes my rain gauge to trip when there is no rain.
I have looked for an answer but cannot find one.
What can I do to prevent this without going up there every frosty day and cleaning it?

Thanks

Re: Realtime gauges v1.0.0.3 available for download

Well! I don't know why but after re-enabling google toolbar it is still working.

I only disabled google toolbar so it cannot be anything else that caused it.

Anyway it is working nicely now.

Thanks

Re: Realtime gauges v1.0.0.3 available for download

Have you noticed: When a company gets too big it becomes impossible to contact anyone of any power within that company. Is there an inverse square law happening here or what? I remember when Google first started you could email the chairman. Now you cannot email anyone unless you buy their products....

Re: Realtime gauges v1.0.0.3 available for download

Well! What do you know!

Google toolbar stopped silverlight from showing the page!

That's not very good is it?

How do I contact Google's development team to tell them off?

Thanks

Re: Gauges.htm is coming out in the folder as 0bytes, any idea?

Yes! I know Steve. The person who posted the ajax xml file is the one who needs to answer this problem. I just used his original gaugesT.htm and the same thing happened again. Cumulus made the gauges.htm file 0 bytes. So, it looks like the person who posted it is an incompetent programmer and should...
