Re: Ecowitt API

Have you looked at the CumulusMX Dashboard under the menu items ‘Station Settings’ then ‘Ecowitt Local API Settings’? Have you got Enable Auto Discovery ticked? Not sure how you have set your station up so these may need looking at. Also, back to the very basics, is the GW2000 connected to your wifi...

No, sorry not to be clear, I meant data prior to using CumulusMX, such as from WeatherLink etc.

Importing old data into CMX V4

After building V4 I was thinking about how someone would import a lot of data, as I had to do in the past. Since the logs have changed, using any of the old conversation programs won’t work without a further conversion. My question is, can the import facility as described be used for short imports o...

Migrating Custom Daily Logs only to V4

Please is there a way just to migrate the custom daily logs from V3 to V4? I’ve done a new build Pi to run V4 in parallel and everything’s fine except for the custom log migration. I’ve messed this up :bash: I’m not sure if just these logs can be migrated on their own, all of the rest of the data, i...

Pi 3B+ with CumulusMX4 OS?

I’m going to try CumulusMX4 on a separate Pi with Bookworm to avoid a total mess up :D . The Pi is a 3B+ Please can I check if I’d be better off sticking to 32 bit or if the 64 bit won’t cause memory problems? The Pi won’t be used for anything else except CMX and website on my own wifi. Thanks very ...

Build 3280 Extra sensors

Just upgraded to the new build, and I’ve started getting errors, I don’t have leaf sensors etc, just extra temp/humidity (WH31) and a WH41. Should I have changed something gin the config please? Many thanks. 2024-02-01 16:02:46 - GetLeafWetnessGraphData: Error at line 907 of data/ExtraLog202402.txt....

Re: New Record? Post here.

I’m also on the south coast, 27.8 and still raining very hard. Personally, I’ve never seen anything like this before, our garden is awash and I’m very grateful that I neither have to go out, or live anywhere likely to flood. It must be horrific.

Re: Createmissing 1.4

I’m sure Mark will reply, but I had this problem a lot too. I did have one file with a genuine problem, the rest drove me potty (er!). Are you running the CreateMissing on the same machine? I was using my Windows PC to correct errors before moving to my live Raspberry Pi. Once I moved the function t...

Re: CreateMissing v1.4.1 and CreateRecords v0.1.0

Thanks for the advice, any help is welcome! The main problem is the underlying data which was imported from a TFA Nexus and later a Davis Vue via Cumulus. It’s getting missing data which is more problematic. I’ve imported everything from 2010 to date and am gradually working backwards correcting as ...

Re: CreateMissing v1.4.1 and CreateRecords v0.1.0

I’m another user!! Using the utility is great, it’s the aftermath when you start looking at ancient records with obviously dodgy data like dewpoints being higher than the max temperature and obviously incorrect entries that the fun really starts. Then you drive yourself slowly mad trying to correct ...
