Export Cumulus data to Control4
Hi This subject was discussed some time ago in a Davis thread but I don’t think that it was ever answered, so . . . . Is anyone here using Cumulus to get data into a Control4 home automation system? I think there is a driver for Control4 that reads data from a web file posted by Cumulus in a specifi...

Re: VP2 to Weatherlink IP unit to Cumulus to...
A very old thread I know, but . . . .
Has anyone got Cumuls working with Control4?
Is there a Control4 web template for Cumulus?
regards
Dave
Probably better asked as a new question, so . . . .

Re: Initial Location Entry
Does it have to be an option? That sounds more complicated to code. Or should the only way in future to enter lat and long be as decimals? Or should we leave it unchanged? Well, in my view, it should be changed, but if making it an option is overly complex, then changing to make it consistent with ...

Re: Default CumulusMX Stylesheet - weatherstyle.css
Hi,
thanks for the link - that's a useful practice tool
At this stage, I just want to clean up the Cumulus page, but it is a useful resource for the future

Weatherlink Data Spikes - Solar
Hi, I have a VP2 with Weatherlink IP, it is connected using Virtual VP to CumulusMX, Virtual Weather Station and Davis Weatherlink Software. Weatherlink does regular data saves to create .wlk files (which I never use). When it saves a .wlk file, it also writes a .CSV that I use in my home grown soft...

Default CumulusMX Stylesheet - weatherstyle.css
First of all, I know nothing about .css, but trying to learn a little so that I can customise my web pages. I have been looking at the weatherstyle.css file that CumulusMX uses and see something that I don't understand . . . Based on the file timestamp, the .css file has probably not been updated fr...

True!
But don't feel that we've anything against your language in particular - we British are equally hopeless with all other languages too

Hi Mark,
OK, a penny has dropped -
charts.html is for the local interface
trends.html is for the remote website
The increase in speed that I thought I saw on the website after changing charts.html can only have been a coincidence

Re: FTP feed for web site
Hi
Better brains than mine will likely be needed here, but you will almost certainly be asked to upload a copy of the ftplog and possibly the main Cumulus log too so that any ftp error messages/codes can be seen
Regards

MySQL Access - 1and1 Shared Hosting
Is anyone uploading to a MySQL database on a 1and1 hosted server from Cumulus? My package includes MySQL databases and I am trying to get CumulusMX to upload to a new database. However, when it tries to create the tables (dbname, host, username, password and port are all correct), I get a 10061 erro...

Re: Long running trend scripts - b3084
Hi Mark, thanks a lot for that, but can you help clear up some ignorance here please . . . . I downloaded your first file, charts.zip, and put the files in the local /interface & /interface/js directories, then reloaded Cumulus The website WIndDir charts were much faster, but I could not see how...

Re: Long running trend scripts - b3084
Hi Mark, thanks a lot for that - it works for me too, but I don't know why :? I copied the files to the local /interface and I/interface/js directories, to help me understand, can you explain how these local files influence the files that get executed remotely? The remote trends.html file does not a...
