Hello, Is it better to use weewx for this purpose? Or should I download the Davis VP2 Serial Communications Protocol PDF for WeatherLink? Right you are, Steve, as I've learned in corresponding with him. I've also learned that he also uses two other weather software packages along with Cumulus, courtesy of the outstanding Virtual VP program that allows up to four software packages to run with a single Vantage Pro. Been using it myself...

Unfortunately, the product is discontinued. Perhaps, I'll need to look somewhere else, as I was thinking about WMR89 as well. However, some space parts are still available (rain gauge and wind sensor). Too bad it doesn’t work with Cumulus.
