After reading this thread I will grab myself a Pi 3 and give this a go. Saves me having to run a full desktop overnight just to capture. Thanks for the post and all the info. Once I get it up & running (or stuck ) I will report back.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get CumulusMX accessible outside my local network due to some strange setup in my rental place. Thanks I see the wrong values. After correcting them and restarting they are being added in once again (they vary from the previous ones). This leaves me with faulty data any time I have to restart CumulusMX
