E-mail and SMS alarm

Good evening, I wanted to ask if a weather warning system (alarm) with e-mail or SMS notification can be implemented in the future. This would be very convenient, for example, for agricultural weather stations, for example to avoid the risk of frost on plantations. Thank you very much and congratula...

v3.10.1 bug Number of wind rose points

Hello,
when I try to change the number of wind rose point, CumulusMX doesn't save my preference and displays this message when I refresh: This field should have one of the values in 8, 16. Current value is: 0

Re: Data input appears to have stopped

The problem was precisely the external hub of Pi Zero.

So I am using another Pi3 I already had at home and everything works correctly.

Thanks!

Re: Data input appears to have stopped

Thanks for the reply. The transmitter batteries are charged. i have already tried to reset the console. I have already activated "Synchronize Fine Offset reads". I have always used this station with Pi3 and it has never given me problems (in fact this morning I tried to attach it to the Pi...

Re: Data input appears to have stopped

I connected the power supply of the Vantage pro2 console to the hub (it's the same 1.7mm connector). Unfortunately the problem persists, what could be the problem? The error message appears every 1 minute (from 11:59). Since the error occurs, CumulusMX no longer updates the data and does not store t...

Re: Data input appears to have stopped

Yes, of course. I will use a normal power supply for phones with USB output (500mA is enough).

Re: Data input appears to have stopped

Thanks for the reply.

Meanwhile I tried to just connect the station to the hub (without 3G key), so it should get enough current.

In the meantime I order a cable like this to power the hub.

Data input appears to have stopped

Hello everybody, my name is Luca and I use CumulusMX for several stations. Yesterday I got to install CumulusMX also on a Raspberry PiZero. To this raspberry I connected a usb hub, connected to the console of a Fine Offset station and to a 3g key to transmit data online. I realized that after a few ...

Re: CumulusMX on Debian

Mark, but he has no Raspberry so Raspbian lite will not work on his shevaplug. ;) I myself use Debian Buster on my BBB and it is not there in a lite version to my knowledge. Meteo Ballino now runs Debian 10 on an sd card, I had a problem with that at first because you have a no-exec flag on an SD c...

Re: CumulusMX on Debian

Hello Meteo Ballino, it's really not mono, you're short of memory and really not going to work. On the shevaplug you only have 512MB DDR2 RAM, and 512MB NAND memory. That's really too tight to run Debian properly, let alone CumulusMX. :bash: I got a BeagleBoneBlack Rev C working myself. The BBB has...

Re: CumulusMX on Debian

It looks like Mono 6.12 from that dump. The stack trace shows Cumulus attempted to get the current time (DateTime. Now) and that crashed Mono whilst processing the Time Zone info. So something pretty fundamental is wrong somewhere. Did you install Mono from the Mono Project web site? - www.mono-proj...

CumulusMX on Debian

Hello everyone. I installed debian 10 on a sheevaplug I had. Everything went well, then I also installed mono (mono-complete) to be able to run CumulusMX. When I try to start CumulusMX I get this error, would you know what it is? Also I obteined this mono-crash file (mono_crash.9a7fdf6df.0.json): { ...
